In their determination to ensure a return of power to the region in 2015, at least 17 major political groups in the North have reached a compromise on how to actualise the feat.

Confirming the development, Secretary General of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Prof. Ango Abdullahi, said this was necessary to ensure that the North returns to its status of political dominance in the country.

The NEF chieftain who made the disclosure to Daily Newswatch in Kaduna at the weekend, added that the groups have resolved to unite because they could only achieve success through unity.
