Superstition is a common thing to all culture in Nigeria. Each culture with its own superstitions. Pls as a Nigerian, share some of ur cultural superstitions, with their cultural meanings & real meanings of these superstitions. Mine will come soon.

a child must not use hand to collect rain water
superstitious believe: if a child do so thunder may strike him/her to death
Real meaning: it's not good to use hand to collect rain water to avoid catching cold
