A Coscharis warehouse is currently burning in Lagos. Witnesses said the fire started about 4.00 a.m. The warehouse is in Kirikiri area of Lagos. Firefighters from the Lagos state fire service and Nigreian Navy are battling to extinguish the fire. A staff who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES said the warehouse is worth billions of Naira and houses goods like tyres, lubricants, spare parts, gas cylinders, Agro-products, batteries and inverters. No casualty have been reported so far. It is unclear if any staff was inside the building when the fire started. I saw the thick black smoke this morning and I said "oh no another rainfall". You know what happens in Apapa lately when rain falls. |

With the list of the stuffs said to be in that warehouse, there shouldn't be anybody within 1km of the building. If that thing should explode, it can set off a chain reaction ;obliterating everything with a large radius. |
