Well, the OP ,just as many Nigerians, still have the erroneous belief and mindset that Mass communication is journalism.

Mass communication is a multi-faeceted discipline. A mass comm graduate who knows his onus can 'dislogde' any of those 'bloggers pulling the rug off the feet' of those doing the job. Today, we have false information going viral due to those ' pulling the rug off the feet.'

As a mass comm graduate, one can perfectly fit into:
1. Advertising/marketing
2. Public relations
3. Media consultancy
4. Journalism
5. Publishing
6. Author/writer
7. Research
8. Teaching/lecturing
and many others, which cannot be noted here due to space constraints and the need to be concise.

At OP, you should do proper research before postin( although, I highly respect your right to expression).

Overall, what makes one employable is not always tied to the course but a variety of factors as: skills, connection/favour, locatiƶn(geographical), grade or class of result, e.t.c. Follow your heart and work on yourself because a diligent man, as a city on a hill, can never be hidden!

Course: Computer Sciene
Sch: IMSU
Cert: Certificate in Oracle 11g database @ NIITE
i am an under-graduate, the absurdity of the scenero in IT is dawned on me... i can now read between the lines. at the inception of my career, i emphatically made it clear to my close ones that i wanted to be an IT expert, most of them discouraged me in studying computer science.
i can i assurd u, studying computer science is the best for any IT guru because here we practise wit different high level language like java/c++/Vb/Fortran etc we also study mathematics, algorithm, flowchart, SQL, pseudecode, data structures, basic networking principles and many more. with all this knoweledge i can developed dynamic applications/web apps wit its database making use of oracle/mysql/derby db/access etc
i am currently working for an App for my School Grading System and a business Apps for my uncle.
my point is that computer science enables me to concentrate in it field.
