I must state categorically that I am not trying to belittle our local musicians or badmouth them. But we often compare our local movies with the foreign ones and I think it's about time we compared our local artistes with the foreign ones. We'll do this by comparing the thing that matters most in any song which is the lyrics. I have two songs that I want us to compare: It will rain by Bruno Mars and Gobe by Davido. These are supposed to be two "love songs", but at the end of the day you'll see which one is truly a love song

Does language matter? Whether it's in English, pidgin, mandarin, Zulu, or Arabic, there is nothing "lovey dovey" about "your behind is a killa".
