For me it all depends on the kind of meal you want to prepare. Star maggi is best fir meals prepared with palm oil, while knorr goes well with groundnut oil

I'm not kidding. I buy Royco in packets. Maggi star in few cubes; just for variety.

I now use Suppy because the salt content is less compared with Knorr.

The topic in itself is an evident to the fact that one of the two seasoning products under discussion is not only better but also more acceptable to the extent that it has become a brand name.How would you feel if someone asked you: "Is MACLEAN Toothpaste better than CLOSE-UP MACLEAN Toothpaste?" Again,does it make any sense to ask your supermarket store attendant to give you either Indomie Noodle or Miemie Indomie Noodle?The wise ones would be deciphering the point I am making.
To set the record straight,I have been privileged to work as a production personnel,though a temporary staff, in the two organizations that produce the two seasoning products: Nestle Nig PLC and Unilever.I must tell whoever cares to listen that MAGGI beats them all,Knorr inclusive, in terms of constituent of production.MAGGI is a very good source of protein and other minerals like iron.Eating MAGGI , without using it as a culinary product,alone if you can is highly recommended because it is highly fortified with iron.

The seeminly "salty" nature of MAGGI has long been corrected and it had nothing.to do with salt as being speculated in some quaters.During the course of mixing operation,certain percentages of recipes are added to give a pre-desired taste.As a result of this perceived "salty" taste being raise through feedback,a modification in terms of mixing operation was done and I can tell you that the MAGGI cube you are seing today are not "salty" as it seemingly used to be.Again,If you decide to use half of a cube,the remaining half will still be met good and solid.Many are losing out of good nourishment bybeing ignorant of the "power" in MAAGGI. Most people don't know how to cook, I use both and they are okay. U don't use 2 cubes of star in a small soup or whtever u r cooking and expect it not to be salty. If u want to know how to cook consult me and not coming here to shout maggi is salty or knorr is the nest

Maggi is better than knon. Knon is just ok in stew. Pls dat knon chicken cube doesn't work @all. After watching d useless advert, I decided to prepare jollof rice with it but it didn't perform. I didn't get any chicken taste.....so Royco beats them all. Put a Royco goat meat flavour in your rice and it will be as if you cooked with goat meat. Royco rocks. But d worst remains Agino moto (spelt wrongly)...very useless cube with an annoying taste.

Nothing can be compared with eating natural foods. Iru (locust bean) is better than any proccessed/chemical seasoning. We need to 're-teach' our taste buds. I know that iru cannot be used in the preparation of some food but it is still the best.

Naah wah o, all u people shouting Maggi is too salty...............wen was the last time u actually tried cooking with a Maggi cube? A while back i couldnt use any other seasoning, saved for Knorr until i tried Maggi, esp the crayfish i havnt looked back since then. Wen u use Maggi to cook salt is best used sparingly, often times wen am to boil meat after adding my Maggi seasoning i sometimes dont use salt because maggi is made with iodized salt. Maggi crayfish is a taste maker any time. Cant do without it.
