If you are schooling or working abroad,
Would you prefer to marry  in abroad or back home?
Your views would be highly appreciated.

My parent want me to get marry abroad especially my mom, but as for me oh I want my wedding in Naija.
Have gone to so many weddings here but none has beaten the Naija wedding have witness especially the traditional one.
My white wedding can take place here, as an honor to my mom but traditional wedding will be taking place in Naija

and the white wedding will be here cos his folks and friends are all here.

My friends abroad usually just prefer the Nigerian wedding thingy. From their talks sounds like weddings over there are not usually preferable and i think that no matter how its packaged it won't still have the Nigerian feel.

More so wedding is almost loosing its value abroad now that divorce is more celebrated than weddings cool

I kinda agree with you. I've always wondered why people spend so much money and make such a big deal out of a wedding ceremony. Anyway, I believe the ladies want it that way because it is one of the happiest days of their lives.

It is typically better to get married at home where you belong.

I'll have my wedding in nigeria

but have a wedding dinner here for my friends who cldnt make it,

weddings are too expensive in this country and i have to go all out

my case is different, my guys family are mostly in Europe expect one in Canada but majority of my family are in the US expect few in Europe, so we came to the conclusion that Naija is the best place and I made a promise to God I have to get married in my Church in Naija wink cheesy
