I tried to respond to a free trial advert MTN sent to me. They said it was a week long free trial. I was asked to send a code to 700. Surprisingly MTN has been making embarrassing deduction from my account weekly even without confirming if I am satisfied with the product. I think I did not bargain for this underhand stealing. I want to unsubscribe, each time I send 'STOP' or 'CANCEL' they will ask me to send the correct code. Please can someone here direct me with how to go about this i.e unsubscribing. I have tried to call their customer's care line to no avail. Must MTN steal by tricks? 1 Like |
