Igbos find Lagos a safe haven for their legitimate productive activities and the present government has sustained good and cordial efforts to ensure this prevails. There are more Ndjibos anywhere in the SW than there are Yorubas in the SE.

Ibadan is more developed and populated than anywhere in the East.

Only Lagos Island, Ikoyi, VI and Yaba made up the old FCT. Other parts were part of the old Western region until 1967.
