In reality, an SU-35 intercepted an F-22. Every other thing is mere assumption.

That is an assumption as well. What we actually know, is that an Su-35 was able to visually identify an F-22 (hence the picture).

Which is not surprising since the USAF and RUAF share flight schedules, plans and altitudes as part of a the de-escalation plan.

No bro its just a few guys who've been indoctrinated in SA about the Red Soviets coming to kill Afrikaners back in the days of conscription.

To me stealth is just a third world myth.

But that's exactly what happens in Syria. Israelis, Russians and Americans share their information so as to avoid any major incidents.

Does anyone have info on the new PGM displayed with the Ahrlac and the Swift upgrade from Paramount ?

Sorry,Saffas but your Mwari with its 800 kg payload will never be anything but an anti poaching, border patrol possibly FAC or arty spotting platform. That 800 kg payload is too low for anything else-the Tuc maxes out at 1.5 T while the AT carries up to 3.5 T!

Yes, Americans share flight plans when they fly west of the Euphrates river or north of the city of Manbij. The RUAF shares info when they fly north of Aleppo or east of the Euphrates.

That way the two countries with over 2000 nuclear ballistic missiles dont start a war with each other.

See how bad the argument is when you flip it around?

We'll see what role its launch customers use it in.

They're not going to be bombing Dresden dude.

You don't need 3.5tons payload to plink landcruisers. That's why the general trend in PGM's is that they're getting smaller. Mokopa only weighs in at about 50kg. If you need to drop tonnage your not going to call in these aircraft.

Paramount designed this aircraft from the ground up for that payload. They seem to be pretty competent in designing products for a particular sweet spot in the market and I'm sure they did their homework by talking to potential customers 1st.

If you look at bombed up tucanos etc. the loadout is pretty much the same. 2 PGM's and some Hydra's. The amount of hardpoints counts more than weight.
I agree about the Air Tractor being superior to both though. I would not want to be a bad guy driving around in a pickup with that thing overhead.

Whether Mwari will sell or not remains to be seen. What we do know is that they have launch customers and are going into production. They are also significantly cheaper than the competition.
The biggest problem with selling all 3 of these planes are the availability of the Pratt & Whitney PT-6. Nowadays you just can't predict who's going to be in the US congress 2-4 years down the line. The type of wars these aircraft tend to get involved in typically gets pretty "messy" by nature and it only takes a couple of members of congress to shut down your spares supply. It would be a valuable selling point to have an alternate engine option. Same goes for integrating a large variety of weapons. A open architecture and a mix of Turkish, Chinese, Russian,Israeli and SA systems would have you well covered.

Paramount launches avionics suite for C-130

South African defence company Paramount has launched its avionics suite upgrade service for the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, one of the world’s most widely used military transporters. The company said it is waiting to sign with its first prospect, an African customer it did not wish to identify at this stage.

Ralph Mills, the Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Advanced Technologies, said some of the planned upgrade work on C-130s would take place at the company’s facility at Polokwane, and other work in the customer’s home country.

He said an upgrade would take about 18months to complete. Mills said the company was taking a collaborative approach and would draw on the services of other companies in the work.

Pdp is the architect of their own failure on this one.. They felt reluctant thinking they ve won it all.. Not knowing in a battle of war all is fair and square.

Their is no monopoly in thuggery and violence but pdp made apc defy that myth.. They fvcked up and they gats collect..

Moreover all of them are all the same..adeleke might switch to apc tommorow and vice versa. All of them re criminals and thiefs in sheep clothing.

I dey pity any person wey dey carry politics matter for head.. Or even naija matter as a whole. That's what I was trying to tell slbm dude on the other thread..

Yes. The Hawk will support Alpha Jet. The AH1F is now being upgraded to above MI35M capabilities by Bell Textron. The Hueys can go to Army aviation. CASA can be rigged for ISR.

The Cobra and the Hueys would require approval and President Trump's approval
Jordan will only get approval if and only if the US gives a nod of assent.
Nigeria's acquisition philosophy in most recent years 2015- goes against such procurement.
The NAF simply doesn't do second hand any more, it simply removes the whiff of corruption..
Conclusion: Nigeria is not likely to be in the picture

note that the Hawk and CASA C-295 are basically brand new.

ANGE NOIR,my dude! ANGE NOIR!! I was last there some 6 or 7 years back. Its in the Industrial Area with the sexiest byatches in E Africa, some say in Africa. Somalis,Tutsis,Bagandas,Batoros and Basogas;also unlike Kenya its not a hoe-tel,ie they're not 'commercial ladies.' At serious risk of TMI I must say even better most are 'elongated'. Idk if your women have that down South, though I've heard they do it in Zim and Zambia.

Pls,don't ask for a pic!

Frumentius, did you go to ange noir? Give us the PG version of what went down!

Nigeria go and offer US$150 million for all with stores and training!!

This is one careless spend that no true Nigerian will complain about in light of our issues.

All have their place in our Armed Forces except the C130 B as it is probably older that our C130 E and C130 H fleet.
