Henry240: Surrounded by neighbors with advanced platforms, the FA-50 would be obsolete. |
Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Nobody: 1:38pm On Sep 21, 2016 |
ActivateKruger: The only threat they have come from Botswana, That's it. One more, the FA-50 is a light multi-role fighter jet in the same class as the Gripen, JF-17 and LCA. I don't see how the FA-50 is obsolete or less advanced than it's competitors. |

Henry240: Dude, the FA-50 is an advanced trainer don't dare compare it with the Griffin. |

Henry240: Technically they have no threats but they need to think of the future. Botswan is looking at 8 gripens, Angola as SU30s, and a bunch of older Russian jets and South Africa as Gripens even the L15 is out classed |

ActivateKruger: The TA-50 is a Trainer. The FA-50 is on the other hand is a Light Multi-role fighter jet. https://warisboring.com/this-south-korean-jet-is-a-bargain-dogfighter-b39390212b18#.z59kcxg24 |

africaken254: It's a missed opportunity considering that Denel assembled most of the SAAF Hawk with ATE (now part of Paramount Group) fitting the avionics. It's could have been a win for the local aviation industry. 1 Like |

LTGEN: Why do Nigerian generals buy 1 ship like this and 1 ship like that? Why ain't they buying a fleet in a single platform? |
