Hello nlanders.av been using my mazda6 for about 15 months now, and its been serving me well, but there is this issue of the car going off(fan still rolling and all other things like AC, sound system and all other thing is still on) whenever I decelerate, like apply brakes to climb bumps or to stop for any reason, it doesn't occur all the time, infact, its not predictable but it occurs quite often this days.. Pls what could be the problem, told my mechanic , he said its either fuel filter issue or electrical problem.
And anytime it does dt, I put it on n it starts imediately,no hassle. @ sienna, @ ikenna @ everybody pls help

I use a 2007 Mazda 6 too & it's a good car. I use to have similar issue on mine for some few times. I did a scan & no code was found. Until my mech suggested I change d spark plugs & he washed my fuel filter which ofcourse did have some dirt particules stucked on it. He dismantled d fuel pump & filter housing located under the rear passenger seat in the fuel tank, then used a carb cleaner to wash the dirts off it. Also, check the throttle body if it's stucked too with carbon deposits as this could affect it too. If it's stucked, it could be cleaned with a carb/choke cleaner by an experienced professional as this is a delicate part. Check for vacum leaks too. Pls, use the OEM Mazda iridium spark plugs. I got mine at the mazda dealership in ikeja at Neul Ojei Holdings close to the local aiport terminal 1.

Yes! I want to buy!!! The photos of the 6s my cotonou contact showed me didn't look so fresh. Don't want a sorry looking 6 for a first car. Where can I buy a real nice 6i, 07 model, touring or grand touring?
