Bought this stuff for my dad earlier in the year on his request and he has not received more tha 12 channels. He has reported the matter severally to the DSTV office to no avail. Truth be told GOTV is just one big FRAUD. The real problem is that the regulatory agencies ie CONSUMER PROECTION COUNCIL seem helples cos dey cannot claim ignorance. MTN another South African company is doing the same with its poor blackberry services

i also experiencd that. Jst mak sure ur antenna strength iz abv 50% nd dnt stop scannin until u av ur channels bak

Make sure the internal antenna is at the right direction.click on menu botton on the remote then go advance setting then installation,then go to scan.try it am sure it will work,you can do it again as i try mine like twice before it works

Dnt mind them jawey..mine started few days after subscription oooo but I think d problem is only with lagos signal n dey said they r working on it and we shall be compensated for d loss!
Just hope for quick action on the technical issue cos dis 19 channels r so bowing except Amag

I must say a big thank you to the op for this thread. Honestly GOTV is a big ripoff. I bought 1 some weeks ago for our new office and i must say have not enjoyed if for 1ce. The better part of the channels are not showing and even d few 1ce showing pause at intervals. No apology, explanation. Bunch of cheats.

To Me Startime is far better than Gotv..WHEN IT RAINS gotv get cut off....but startime dont....the reason is startime uses NTA satelite. you now NTA with chinese govt own startime..and GOtv uses DSTV..who is the parent company of GOtv..ok..and if u wanna load ur account startime is the best..you can load with scratch card..and even online with your debit card....but GOtv na bank u must go queue up..pay ....who cares about the channels..listing omo for me i stick to startimes....if i wan manage cable tv...but of all DSTV is the best

Now I'm regretting ever scanning. I won't b ale 2 watch anythn on it until 2moro whn I take it 2 dir office again? Smh

GoTv no try at all. i am seriously disappointed. i bought one yesterday for my mom since i spend some weekends in her house and miss my favourite news channel on DSTV - CNN. unfortunately, the channel and several others on their flyer r not showing. so i hav to watch only aljazeera. anyway, i've noted all the channels on their flyer that r showing, so that when i travel back to my place i will inform all my friends who intend to install it to stay action till there is an improvement.

i will be very hpy if dey can solve this GOTV prob 2day....bcoz wil dnt enjoy GOTV during the eid el fitr time.
