This is why Western worlds see true Development.
This is the true definition of Servant-Leader.. Not until we begin to get people that are genuinely intrested in leading and not intrested in the gains and benefits attached to leading, the might not know the true meaning of "TRUE DEVELOPMENT"

Our leaders are Arrogant, Proud and Pompous and only enrich themselves with public funds. Till the day where a Senator would be paid next to nothing or the president's office doesn't have salary and allowances attached to it, till that day, political office would remain too attractive and would attract majorly thieves who seek only to enrich themselves..

If you ask my opinion.. I think if you are a wealthy man and you have made enough money doing private works and decided to rule your country.. I don't think you should be paid for ruling your country, I think its a rear privilledge to do so..
But what do we have, we see very wealthy people aspire for office and embezzle more funds while in office. Money they can never finish spending in their life time and the life time of their childrens children.. That's the mentallity and attitude we have to wealth in our country. True wealth as a leader is not about how much you stash away in swiss bank accounts or launder abroad. True wealth of a leader is how much impact you made. How many lives you touched as a leader, what you are gon be remembered for long after you are gone, the legacy you leave behind after your tenure, How well you imprint your name in the Sands of time, your achievements and land strides. Your anticidents and stands on National issues..

I'm not surprise at all, their ( Norwegian ) orientation is one of the best on earth.

We really have a long way to go in this country.

I was shocked at the car Norwegians use on my first visit, and my wife got more shocked when We visited Germany. Long story short, when I told people back home here ( in Nigeria ) the most expensive car that very few people use in both countries ( the states visited - Stavanger and Hannover ), some Nigerians responded by telling me, they ( Germans and Norwegians ) don't have money and can't afford expensive cars.

Our orientation and the way we think is not encouraging.

Note: Norway is presently the most progressed country on earth and the best place to be a mother on this planet.
