From my research into some models of different cars, I found out that the following models of cars are to be avoided at all costs. For 2005 Nissan Pathfinder,once you are able to by-pass the radiator for your tansmission cooling,the car is very solid. |

Those asking what is wrong with excessive oil usage should imagine traveling with 40liters galon full of oil and toping oil like fuel in any little journey or else engine will knock. Most of these problems I listed dont develop immediately but they are the usual problems encountered as the mileage of the cars increase. The problems can be fixed but that is your extra money. These faults are also seen in other models but it is worse in the listed models. |

These problems, apart from costing you your money, can also cost you your life. Most accidents that occur in our roads are not all caused by driver's carelessness but as a result of some of these problems I listed. These were mistakes made by the manufacturers and not the fault of users. It is good for users to know the usual problems associated with the models of cars they use in order to be alert and not to be surprised by a sudden change in their cars' behavior. The 40 liters I wrote is called an exageration in Use of English. I wanted to use that illustration to disproof the guy that was trying to say that excessive use of oil is not a serious issue. As for the person asking why I wanted to buy 2003 honda, it is because people sell out their 2003 honda at a very cheap price because of the usual problem of the model. Since, I can correct the problem, I can use the car well. I like the car because it is very cheap. |

The car section is not for exaggeration-a lot of people will make their choice of cars to buy based on what they read on this section. Why are you then looking to buy a car you are asking other people to avoid "as hell", do you think you are the only person who can "correct" the problem. That's Hypocrisy and selfishness combined. You still haven't quoted your sources for the false information you are spreading And before I forget, Thank you for lecturing me in "the use of English", but you should live by example- its 'disprove', not 'disproof' amidst other errors. If you really like cars because they are 'cheap', then I can only say that there are much cheaper cars available for you to buy- Naija used VW Beetle perhaps (At least you get to drive a German car at below 25k cost price) -Just joking..., It means you are not even heeding your own advice. I am glad that I know something most people who claim to be car specialists in nairaland does not know. I know you want to know the source of my information. You should ask me to provide the sources in a polite way and not by force. What you don't know is greater than you. You may go and do your own research too and find for yourself. I advice people especially those who want a car without unnecessary problems and who are not ready for unnesasiry spending on repairs to avoid these cars. |

He always dismiss any new information from students or junior lectures which he does not know, but he would secretely go into research. I think you are missing out something here; what about the w203 Benz's and the BMW's, though these cars are very good machine from experience, but their wahala no be here; the more sophisticated they are; the more problematic they could be. Do your findings again and lets know your sources too |

You should have leave him to do so. Besides, only 2005 Pathfinder is what i saw in the link you provided as one of the vehicles he listed, unless am mistaken. I would have wanted Chuqudy to tell us where he got to that conclusion about why prople should stay away from 2003 Peugeot 307 & 2007 Peugeot 407. Probably he had owned the 2 vehicles before. Even at that, if i my D9 V6 had an A/C issue at o point and i complained online about it, does it mean all 406 V6 produced the same year of mine should be avoided? Smh! Ikenna. |
