Not yet. It's a newly released phone with a relatively small user base. It'll take some time. Have patience.

But do you know how I can make them work? I pasted them into system/app directory using root explorer and changed permissions to rw-r-r, tried to install them with a "system app installer" app... but still can't seem to get them noticed as active system applications. Hence my problem, too, isn't solved at all. What am I doing wrong? Can you give me any insight?

I think Gionee P2's screen is scratch resistant. I've been using the phone for close to 2 months now without any screen guard, and I haven't seen or detected even a faint scratch!

Anyhoo, it's gaming is off the hook! Fifa 14, TDKR, Gunslinger, NFS Most Wanted, Shadowgun, Amazing Spider-Man, etc all run flawlessly without a single lag.

UR PROB IS SOLVED!!!
AFTER MOVING THE FILES 2 SYSTEM/APP AND CHANING OF PERMISSIONS, REBOOT UR DEVICE. THAT'S ALL!!!

This procedure worked for me once (Your device must be rooted)

Install X-Plorer file manager

Launch, Press the left symbol beneath the screen of your phone, some options will appear, tap configuration, then tap the root access, tick the last option made available to you.


Tap Root, tap etc, long press hosts, tap edit text.

You will see something like this:

127.0.0.1 local file
127.35.16.24 Android.clients.google.com

Just Insert "#" in front of the second address, exit and save.

Then reboot and launch Google play.

Good luck.
