Please I need sincere advise on 2000 model Volvo s80. Its maintenance costs and its common problem.

When I go for service I notice that most of the Volvos at the service centers some packed for long are s80s.
I also heard from the Mechanic that their parts are pretty expensive.
I prefer S40, S60 to S80, it seems to be the most problematic of the new versions.
It is the flashiest but also the gives the most headaches in my opinion

Lol, thank you dear, apparently this is the only place I can share my VolvoLove and enthusiasm. Most people dont get it.

Off course he will say so, after all its the best market for him na. An S80 Gear box is 120k, and knowing Nigerians with lack of maintenance sooner or later you will come back to him.
For me among the new models, s70 is the least flashy and yet the most rugged and strongest
