BETTER EACH DAY

Here's a persons testimony of the daily devotion.

"Yesterday I drove all the way from the office to my home with a strange grin on my face. I feel the reason was I feel pretty much better daily considering how I used to be and how much I have changed lately.
These days, I have more respect for people, and I don't shout beggars and window washers off as I used to.

The daily devotion seems to shed light on issues I find personal, even though its the same solution about everything, (which is prayer in Jesus name and the blood of Jesus), God is using it to restructure me from my inside, and this changes have begun to reflect on the outside.
Truly, Jesus is Lord of all"

Change is a constant thing, but positive change is more appealing.
We bless God for the all the positive changes in our lives towards holy and righteous living in Jesus Holy name.

God wants us to know him, and without knowing Jesus, you cannot fully know God.

Father in the name of Jesus, please draw me closer to you daily.

SOLAR ECLIPSE

I read that world is expected to experience a solar eclipse today at about 3pm visible from parts of Nigeria and it will be a wonderful sight to behold. Don't miss it O

- Word of caution to all, avoid looking directly at the eclipse
- use proper infrared glasses or better still, use a water bowl
- viewing directly could damage your eyes.

Astronomers have de-mystified the movement of the heavenly bodies to a large extent and are able to predict certain events in the heavens but cannot tell when Jesus will return in the rapture to save his children, and then the world will fall into terror reign of satan.

Noone knows when the rapture will take place so be prepared always.

PATIENCE

A drama I saw years back reproduced the life of a young intelligent graduate who after leaving school many years ago could not get job. Having applied in many companies and written so many interviews, nothing seemed forth coming.
After a few years without any hope, he took a very bold step in the wrong direction and hung and killed himself.
As he breath his last, a mail man delivered an appointment letter for him with a company which offers an initial training to fresh employees to a few foreign countries before full resumption of work with them.

Many times, many people have missed out on lots of breakthroughs because they just couldn't tarry a little longer.
Patience is not easy but its one virtue worth possessing.

Have you been waiting for a breakthrough? Pls don't give up yet, get God involved.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

I WILL KILL YOU

This statement can only come from a hell bound heart.
Is it right to kill your fellow human being for any reason whatsoever?

The answer is"NO"

When Jesus was asked:
 "Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (Matt 22:36-39)

If you love yourself will you kill yourself?
If not, why will you kill your neighbor?

Why should a person out of reasons of offense for any reason whatsoever take the life of another?

Friends, If for any reason you are asked to kill another human being either in a scriptural writing, by an angel, a prophet, a pastor, an imam or any leader, pls reassess your position and walk away from such instruction, religion or gathering before you get yourself in Strong opposition to God almighty.

Do not be deceived, NOONE has the authority to kill or to instruct you to do so.
Be mindful of what any gathering or religion says for I tell you, you will "NOT" be innocent of the blood you shed.

Who is a Christian?

MY NECKLACE, MY BADGE

A few days back, while driving on the road to work, a large SUV (Land cruiser) almost ran me off the road, I had to swerve to avoid an accident.

The driver drove off like a champion but only after I had caught a view of a bold sticker on the back windshield which read the slogan of a Church for the year 2013

Where do you worship?
Some will say I'm Anglican, I'm Catholic, I'm Redeemed, I'm Methodist, I'm a Winner, I attend MFM, I'm ......

We wear our places of worship like a necklace, like a badge, but thats all that shows for it, once we step out of church, we engage ourselves in drinking, smoking, fornication, adultery, watching pornography, lying, stealing, fighting, cursing and all forms of abominable sin.

Is this your Christianity.

Do you not know how much shame and insult you bring upon the name of Jesus Christ?
How dare you mock God?
Do you not have any fear?

Don't you know that hell is waiting for you?

Why don't you turn away from hell before it swallows you up.

Did Jesus Christ shed His blood in vain for you?

Why don't you embrace Christianity is sincerity and not in shame
- A Christian is a person who is like Jesus Christ.

BE SOBER

The Scandinavian countries are known for unbelievable accidents and careless mistakes of human error as a result of alcohol consumption which is characteristic of the region.
Relatively, in Nigeria, there are more accidents in cities like Lagos and abuja on fridays and Saturdays even though there is less traffic on such days.

You are more likely to trip, or drop an item when you are intoxicated than when you are not.
More importantly, you are more likely sin against God and man when you are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The bible says, be sober be vigilant, cos your adversary the devil moves to and fro the earth looking for who to devour.
Be not filled with strong drink, drugs or any inhibition enhancer, rather be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Remember, Jesus Christ will come soon,and even if He tarries, how are you sure you willbe alive the next minute.

"Be sober, Be vigilant."

PRAYER
Father please forgive me for my sins
I overcome every spirit of alcohol and drug abuse in mylife in the name of Jesus Christ the righteous, amen.

HELPING THE POOR

Do you need to be reminded to help the poor?
You don't help the poor
You don't pray
You don't go to Church.
You don't give offering
You don't pay your tithes
You don't give alms

What selfless deed do you do?
You are always thinking about yourself, and how to make yourself look beautiful and be respected, while a lot of poor people need less than you spend on your beauty to keep their families alive.
What selfless deed do you do with your money?

You ask God daily to help you, but in return you do not help others.

God is watching You.

HARVEST OF LOVE

You don't need money to have joy
You don't need riches to be happy
You don't need wealth to have peace
You don't need material things to be fulfilled
You don't need everything to be content
But,..
If you have love, you will have Joy, happiness, peace, fulfillment and contentment.
If you have love, you have everything.

Our needs are insatiable, the more we seek to acquire materialistic things, the more we will seek to have more.
"The worlds deepest pit needs the most dirt to fill it"

Rather I pray you, seek GOD

"For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit." (Ecc 2:26)

GOD is Love
If you have Love you have everything.

God sent his only begotten Son to draw us to Himself in his Love.

As we enter this new week, let's us consider God first in all we do so that His Love will be made perfect in us.

A STRONG MAGNET

A persons account of last night, pls read

"Unable to sleep last night, I stayed awake reading stories online.
I should have been praying, reading the bible or the likes but i wasn't.

However, in the wee hours of the morning, I fell asleep and dreamed that I was telling members of my family about Jesus and how urgently we all needed to turn to God and accept Him into their heart.
While I was speaking, the sky changed, and like a huge magnet people were drawn up into the center of the sky, where Jesus was.

The person I was talking to about the salvation of God also got drawn up.

While we were being drawn up, I noticed it was only a handful of people from the entire world that were drawn up.
Then I woke up"

PRAYER
"Lord, Jesus Christ, I am sorry for all my sins. I confess them with my mouth and I ask for mercy.
Please forgive me and wash me in your blood.
I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour. Write my name in the book of life. Give me power over sins and fill me with your Spirit and Joy of Salvation. When the rapture trumpet sounds, let me make it. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus Holy name I pray."

Life's challenges could be really frustrating, and though we try to stay strong, our faith fails us.

HIS MIGHTY HAND

In the story of Esther, a man named Hamman plotted to destroy a maned Mordecai and all Jews (the children of Abraham), and this ploy was to instigate the King Ahasuerus which reigned from India Unto Ethiopia, over 127 provinces to build gallows to hang all the Jews living in those days.
(Esther 3: 8-9)

However, his plans failed after the Jews (the children of Abraham) went to God in prayer and fasting.
On the night that the wicked Hamman had proposed to initiate the killings, the Lord reversed the matter because the Jews found favour in the presence of God and the king Ahasuerus.

"..Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him" (Esther 6:13)

The ploy to destroy the Jew was reverse upon Hamman and his household and fellow people who desired the destruction of the Jews.

"But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows."
(Esther 9:25)

God is GREAT, you can read up the story yourself.

Father I wash myself and cover myself and my family with the blood of Jesus Christ.

I decree that every ploy of the enemy and every plan the enemy has hatched to destroy me, let that ploy and the plan be reversed upon the enemy and the cohorts in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth

EVERLASTING LIFE

Why are you sad?
God does not condemn you.
God knows your challenges, He knows your pain.
He knows how hard you try to overcome time after time.
He clearly understands your worries.
Do not give up yet, but try again.

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:17)

God will make a way for you when there seems to be no way, He is watching over you, and in a short while he will shake everything around you and pour out a blessing
(Please read Haggai 2: 3-9)

"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John3: 15)

When you believe on Jesus and obey his word, not only will He bless the works of your hands, He will give to you eternal life.
Flee from sin, and surrender your life to God through His Son Jesus.
Stay steadfast in faith and character, God will reveal to you again His mighty hand, and greater shall it be this time around.

PRAYER
Father, I apologize for my unbelief. I'm really sorry for my sins.
Please O God, Forgive me, wash away my sins with the blood of your Son Jesus.

A NEW EARTH

In the bible book of Revelations, its written that the earth will be destroyed and will be beyond habitable standards (heaven and earth will pass away), the earth as we know it today will be no more and completely uninhabitable when destruction is completed as a result of the wrath of God almighty.

Earthquakes would tear the earth in strange ways, meteorite storms will cause great havoc, "and his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them on the earth" (Rev12: 4) and the sun and moon will cease to give light.

Just like the earth in the beginning of creation in Genesis , "without form, void, and in darkness", the earth will be destroyed and all those who are left behind will be caught up in this terrible destruction.

As many that did not get caught up with jesus (Acts 1: 11) or rejected the salvation of God will be destroyed and doomed a second time in hell which is regarded as the second death in Revelations 21: 8 ("but the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with with fire and brimstone: which is the second death"

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away: and there was no more sea" (Rev 21: 1)

I pray you won't be around to see this great destruction.
You can only avoid the destruction if you come to Jesus today and change your ways for good.

Jesus loves you and wants you saved.

CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS

Do you remember Cadbury Chocolate Eclairs?
"That chocolatey goodness with a rich yummy chocolatey middle"
It used to be the most expensive sweet in the local mallam corner shop.

There were other sweets too, but that rich yummy center made it standout and cost more.

Your Christian life is more valuable if it is rich on the inside because true Christianity emanates from your heart and in your private life.

Are you christian on the outside only, seek to be christian also in your private life.

To achieve a rich desirable Christian heart, you need to
- pray "MORE" often in private
- study (or listen) to the bible daily
- ask God to fill you with His Holy spirit daily (This one completes you.)

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." (Colosians3:16)

Now, Don't be like that big juicy cherry (agbalumo / udara) which is highly desired, but has big fat worms eating up the inside.

Rather be like the Eclairs,.. Rich,Yummy and highly Desirable on the inside.

PRAYER
Father, in the name of your Son Jesus, pls overshadow me with your grace to study your word and to Pray daily.
Fill me daily with your Holy spirit Lord even today, so that I may be fruitful in your will for me I pray in Jesus Holy name

THANKS DAILY

Every new week comes with its own challenges.
If you have a challenge, it means you are alive and there is hope that some how some way, that challenge will pass as long as the almighty God lives.

Jesus makes us understand that life comes with challenges, but we shouldn't worry about them because He has overcome all things so that we may have peace.

His Love for you is a wonderful kind
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16: 33)

When trials come, try this strange approach, "Give thanks to God and commit it to Him" and watch your heart go to rest.

PRAYER
Father I thank for the gift of life, for the gift of health and for the gift of ability.
Thank you for this new day, and for this new week. Thank you for all the challenges and victories that you will wrought in it.

STICK MEN

Sometimes, we get soo weak, and seem to begin to break under existing pressures of life.
We wish to give up because we feel we can't handle the situation ourselves any longer.

A little "more" pressure could break the toughest material; pressures of life may have taken its toll on us and left us as fragile as a stick of broom.

At this low point, please don't give up I beg you, instead plead the blood of Jesus over your situation, call upon the name of Jesus.

Even just the name of JESUS, and your relief will certainly come.

JESUS!!!

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

The name Jesus is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are saved.

NEVER LET HIM GO

A online video showed a man who was shot in the head in Northern Nigeria for not denying his Christian faith, fortunately, he lived to tell the story.

When interviewed, and asked why he chose to stand his ground and refused to deny Christ , he replied with a strong conviction saying;

“What can separate us from the love of Christ? Is it hardship? Is it persecution? Is it sword? No. Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ,” he said.
"Christ did something for me and all the people in the world. We are sinners! We are condemned criminals! We are supposed to die! But He took all these burdens! He paid for our debts! He died for us! Why can I not submit to Jesus? That is what I did. I stood for him!"

Dear friends, If it was you, what will you do?
Most of us would readily deny Christ just to stay alive,
In Matthew 10:39, Jesus says
"He that findeth his life shall lose it, and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Decide today to remain steadfast in proclaming your faith, let nothing separate you from the Love of Christ.

Jesus loves you, seek Him, find Him, and never let Him go.

UNITY

Today's message is for those who want to progress as a family, and as a business

"..Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand"(Matthew12:25)

Stop fighting and arguing in your home or business, you need to seek a meeting point not individually, but together.

Discuss your home or business matters, and agree to certain terms for the purpose of growth...

If you fail to do this, your home or business will certainly fail.
Even the devils collaborate without confusion to destroy man, how much more you that is born of God.

Decide today to work with your partner as a team and u will see great glory.

NO PART IN ME

"Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me." (John 13:

This scripture shows the humility of Jesus towards his disciples.
Jesus humbled himself, he stooped to conquer the heart of His disciples, and they in turn were encouraged to go all out to serve in His ministry.

In relationships (especially marital), at times one person is of greater advantage of power than the other(s).
It could be financially or any other ability.

This is no time to flaunt your power, your finances or advantage(s) in front of your spouse or colleagues, rather it is a time to be humble, to stoop to conquer their heart.

"A person who serves out of passion and respect for a spouse or a colleague, will leave a good lasting impression than one who does serves with contempt."

Make a promise to yourself today
- give more respect and regard to your spouse and colleagues.
- Learn to work together without pride or arrogance, learn to listen, learn to discuss without arguments.
- Remember all good things come from God, and if you misuse this power, God can strip you of it in an instant.

In all that you do, do it with the fear of GOD.

PROGRAMMERS

Many people today don’t realize that the reason they’re not happy, the reason they’re not enjoying life is simply because they’ve trained their minds in the wrong direction.

- They’ve programmed their minds to worry.
- They’ve programmed their minds to complain. - They’ve programmed their minds to see the negative.

But just as we can train our mind to
focus on the negative, we can also reprogram our minds to focus on the positive. It all depends on what you meditate on.

When we meditate on the Word of God, we reprogram our minds. When we meditate on God’s goodness, we are developing a right mindset.
When we choose to be grateful and focus on what’s right rather than what’s wrong, we are choosing a positive attitude.
This doesn’t happen automatically; you have to discipline yourself to focus on the right things. You have to make a conscious effort to spend time in the Word of God every single day until a habit is formed .

I believe that as you honour God with your time, He’ll multiply it back to you. As you stay faithful and focused on Him, He will direct your steps, and you will embrace the blessing and victory He has in store for you in Jesus name

PRAYER

".. the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a RIGHTEOUS man availeth much." (James 5: 15-16)

If you really want you prayers answered, you need to embrace Jesus.

If you really want desire the good which God promises in his Word, you need to accept His righteous.
Jesus is the righteousness of God
Your own righteousness cannot save you.

Only Jesus can save.
The effectual fervent prayer of a "Righteous" person works alot.

How do you accept the righteousness of God?

- First you accept that you have sinned.
- Confess your sins to God in prayer
- Pray asking God to wash away you sins with the blood of Jesus Christ.
- ask the holy spirit of God to fill your heart.
- Make conscious efforts to avoid offending God.

Stop running away from God, instead come to Him. Ask for forgiveness and repent of your ways. Please God and He will see you through.

Jesus loves you.

PRAYER
Father, I thank you for your love.
I come to you today to seek your forgiveness for all my sins. Pls Father forgive me.
Wash away my sins in the blood of Jesus Christ.
Cleanse my heart.
Fill me afresh with your Spirit, and give me the strength to overcome sin I pray in Jesus name.

FOCUS

"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." (Mathew 6: 22)

If you keep two items in front of you to admire them, you cannot fully appreciate one because as you focus on the second one, you momentarily blank out on the first and vice versa.

If you have someone you call a fiance or fiancee, a husband or a wife, keep your focus on that one person.
When your focus begins to waiver, your relationship will definitely begin to suffer.

However, let your foundation be Godly, leading a holy life.

"Flee fornication and Hate adultery."

".. if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness..." (Mathew 6: 23)

IMPERFECT ME

Daily one way or another we transgress the laws of God by lying, stealing, fornication, gossiping and committing all sorts of sins that makes us unworthy of the blessings of God.

He loves you nevertheless.

God knows and sees the challenges we go through to remain holy and without sin.

He does not love you because you are perfect; He loves you despite your imperfection,

Do you know that there is nothing you have done that God cannot forgive.
The blood of Jesus Christ washes away all sins; because Jesus loves you?

Remember if you go wrong, don't stay down, hurry back and ask for forgiveness.
"Jesus Christ is always willing to accept you"
(Matthew 18: 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.)

Hurry before it becomes too late because your life is not guaranteed.

PRAYER
Merciful Father, "Thank you for loving a wretch like me"
I have sinned against you knowingly and unknowingly please forgive me for my sins and wash me in the blood of Jesus.
Lord give me your strength to avoid sin and begin my life afresh again.
I plead for grace to follow You faithfully.

REPENTANCE

Many of us come to God for forgiveness, but very few people actually repent.

Definition: Repentance means a sincere turning away, in both the mind and heart, from sin and self to God.

Do you know that although Jesus Loves you, if you do not repent of your sins you will perish forever in Hell?

This is not a threat to get us scared, it is a truth that we need to know and consciously struggle to avoid.

God has made a way for you and me to escape the fires of hell where the worms do not die, and the flames never go off.

Jesus is the way the Truth and the eternal life.
His arms are open to receive you just. As you are.
Drop your passport to hell today and accept eternal life the God is giving freely to you.

PRAYER
Father in the name of Jesus, please draw me closer to you daily.
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and I surrender myself to Jesus. Wash me in the blood of Jesus, forgive my sins. Open my heart wider to your word and convert me with your Holy Spirit, i pray in Jesus Holy name

YAMA YAMA!!!

Growing up as kids, when we witnessed a disgusting sight, we exclaimed YAMA YAMA!! which was our way of saying "That is really disgusting!"

Sin is very disgusting in the sight of God,and nothing disgusts God like when we Sin.
"...Sin is a reproach to any people" (Prov 13:34)

Some preachers may talk about grace, but is grace made available so that we can Sin?

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.
How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?". (Roman 6:1-2)

Once I read a story of a good Christian who committed fornication.
She felt really bad after the sin and decided she'll repent in church on sunday but unfortunately she died in car accident on the way home moments after.
She had no time to repent before she died.

"...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.(2Corin. 6:2)

Why do you still live this disgusting life of Sin?
Smoking, drinking, fornicating, lying, stealing?
Yama yama Life!!!

Stop now, forsake yur ways and come to Jesus, because tomorrow might be too late.

PLEASE SAY THIS PRAYER:
God our Father, I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus Christ.
Pls forgive my Sins.
Wash me today with the blood of Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus, please come into my life as my personal Lord and savior.
I reject my life of sin.

INTERCESSION

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior.” (1 Timothy 2:1-3)

Last night someone's entire dream was spent wandering about an airport, and it ended with the recording of a plane crash.

Nigeria has had many reports lately on the ailing aviation sector and as we know, the Devil and his agents of uses our weaknesses against us to cause havoc.

- I implore on Christians nationwide to intercede on behalf of our airspace this season, and pray that God Almighty will deliver us from another incident involving commercial airplanes in His mercy.
- I implore all those flying and traveling this season to repent and surrender their lives to Jesus before they embark on any journey as it may be their last time to amend their ways with God and risk Hell fire forever.

PRAYER
Almighty God our Father, the great merciful creator of the universe, the awesome wonder who is God in deed and in truth.
Father in Jesus Holy name we your children call upon you for your mercy upon our aviation sector.
Father we cover our airspace with the precious blood of Jesus, and we take full authority over our airspace in the Holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
We rebuke all the plans of the Devil and his agent concerning our airspace by the blood of Jesus Christ the righteous.
We surrender our space to you O God almighty and we beg O God for your protection and salvation through out this season of celebrations and into the new year, Father, please take total control of our airspace and roads by the blood of Jesus.

PRAYER
Father, thank you for all you have done for me and my family all theses months past.
Lord please forgive my sins, and help me to live a better life.
Increase the consciousness of your Word in my heart and let your grace and your mercy follow me all the days of my life.

"And the ark of the Lord was in the country of the Philistines seven months. And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the Lord? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place. And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering:..."
(1Sam 6: 1-3)

The ark of the Lord signified the presence of the almighty God. It was the sign that brought great glory and blessings to Israel.
When it was captured by the Philistines, it caused so much havoc, diseases and pestilence in their midst that they literally did not know what to do with it, than to release it back to the Children of Israel.

Today, God doesn't use the ark, but rather the Holy Spirit of God signifies the presence of the almighty God.
If you have the Holy Spirit of God living with you and in you, the Devil and his agents will not know what to do with you, but release you and bless you like the Philistines did to the children of Israel.

Do want to have such Glory?
If you do, you have to accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, and invite the Holy spirit to come and live with you and in you from hence forth.

"When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." (Proverbs 16: 7)

PRAYER
