I thought i was the only one who recognised this "character flaw" in Ekwueme. I was just telling my colleague this same thing when i saw this thread on front page before viewing.

Ekwueme's relevance in PDP seem to be restricted to reconcilliation and fact-finding committees. He has no say on who becomes what or what direction the party toes, infact he seems to be absurdly contented with that. He seems to be the only Nigerian politician without progressive tendencies(moving about parties). Well, maybe he has no "character flaw" after all. He's just principled and selfless, and his peers are aware of that, hence his stereotyped relevance.
