Pls I was curious, do I save fuel more when am in neutral or when I off my engine completely for say 2-5mins in holdups or being stopped by the traffic light.I drive a toyota camry '94 model Tnx |

NOTE: NOT APPLICABLE FOR LAGOS ROADS! also applicable only when you have slightview of atleast 3 cars ahead of you. first i keenly observe and time the flow pattern of the traffic jam, then apply as such... nuetral+handbrake.. for less than 2 minutes short movements switchoff engine..if more than 2 minutes interval movements u will be suprised how long 2 minutes could feel when in traffic |

put ur car on nutral save fuel than when u off it, when u start ur engine it custom more fuel than when u it of nutral. |

laluski: Mr siena,ikenna,car doctor,Zim drill,pls what do u think Switch off the engine if you are sure that you may be spending some time before the traffic starts moving again. What better way could you possibly conserve fuel if your engine is switched off? Make sure your starter motor is in good working condition and your battery is good if not you could end up adding more to the traffic problem if your car fails to start. The people held up behind you will not have mercy on you o. That's Lagos for you. Car-Doctor. |

Me switches off in a locked traffic or when I found myself at the end of a long line, but nuetral is ideal in a go-slow |
