The BAD news hunters, @Gbawe and co, have avoided this thread like a plague. I wonder why some people are so OBSESSED with BAD news. The idiots will dismiss threads about progress in the power sector while at the same time create and celebrate threads about launching of 150 wheel barrows by Aregbe in Osun. They'r frustrated FOOLS!

@op.,the creation of the Bulk Trader as part of the power sector reforms is already yielding results. I hope the thread about another IPP in Ogun State makes front page too. I cant wait to see the prefered bidders take over PHCN successor companies.

One step at a time, we'r making PROGRESS.

Don't be too hasty to claim 100% glory.

ABUJA – The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, Dr. Sam Amadi, has said that there has been little or no difference in the state of power supply in the country since the power reform was initiated by former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s government in 2005.

You hit a big point here, gbawe and co is doing all that because they believe that GEJ is building the nation from scratch and a lot have to change.Corrupt practices and divide and rule strategies will soon become thing of the past, and that is their main fear..

Corruption is what sustains the Ogboni Culture. Billionaires without any production. Only in Nigeria. So they're rersisting vigorously.

Obiagelli: Good news, but will it be connected to the national grid, and how many megawatts is the plant generating?
No it won't be connected to the national grid because it is designed for Aba and it's environs. It has an installed capacity of 156MW but will generate 144MW.

Promhize:
Won't the power from the plant be transmitted to National grid and redistributed or isn't that how its done?
Nope, geometric power is privately owned but financed by the wotrld bank, it is exclusively for Aba metropolis and environ, they have already installed giant steel poles with cables supplying power to industries, the rest of the city will follow later.

Promhize: Good news. How many Megawatts would it generate? Journalism in Nigeria ehn, see junk questions they were asking.

By the way, where is that useless Gbawe, saying Nigeria is moving backwards and Jonathan is confused, just shows how illogical, emotion-driven APC goons are
but I can remember vividly that ACN berated the FG for asking this man to resign, they acknowledged the fact that he was doing a good job then,no protest or ultimatum from Gov Obi or Ohaneze.

What else do you expect from slaves whose masters have commanded to see no good in Jonathan's administration? The slaves would have been here if NNAJI have said that the power project will be commissioned by TINUBU or BUHARI with drug addicts like Kayode in attendance and twitter specialist el-rufai as special guest of honor.

Kindly tell us who built the Lagos own power plant you are talking about. Their are two power plant in ABA, the one we are discussing here is privately owned by Geometric and it was designed to serve aba. It won't be going on the national grid. It will be a thing of joy if all local government in the south west build their own power plant.
The second power plant located at alaoji is the one that will go on the national grid.

Guy Obasanjo didn't commission any power plant, what he did was to share $16 billion dollars among his co crooks and looters.
You need to visit ABA and see things for yourself. Many people in Aba are now selling their fairly used generators.

Acn berated him when nnaji was removed because the party blindly and foo.lishly condemn every GEJ's move whether its good or bad.
Its just a continous thing, is not as if Acn knows what Nnaji has to offer or not.
.
Y wont d man resign? If he had stayed on dat seat (where he wasnt allowed to rest) , he would have been frustrated and this project could have become just a mirage today..
He left because he knows he is heading somewhere. He feels he is not just a minister material.

That's the exact reason why the northerners and their western slaves are shouting power must return to the north instead of supporting the transformation in progress. #Teamfreshair.
Have you ever wondered why none of them is advocating for a better candidate better than Jonathan, rather they are shouting power must return to north so that the backwardness will continue.
Let them give us someone better than Jonathan and stop wasting their time on campaign of hatred.
