Titi if u read d passage very well, startin 4rm verse 1 - 9. it has a bigger picture than our literal hand, leg and eyes. What Jesus iwas sayin is dat wateva cud make us to sin we shud try to get it out of our way rather to enjoy d pleasure of dis earth thus endup in hell fire. So basically it wud be better to pay d price here and later enjoy in heaven dan enjoy on earth and suffer in hell.

You have asked a good question. But in truth, that's the weakness of the LAW. That scripture is as literal as day light. If we don't accept the literal saying, some people will say this is what Christ meant and others will say, no, this is what Christ meant. How then do we know who is right or wrong?

If we're all to cut off our members, don't you think there will be more amputees on earth by now?
