Pls I need professional advice from someone who really knows about this. I'm a microbiology graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University, but I'll like to pursue a career in Computer science in Nigeria or abroad, I really want to know how I can go about this, and which universities are best to apply into in Nigeria

You want to waste another 4 years going to the university? Well my own advice to you is to go for some I.T certifications, i have a colleague at work, he is our best System Engineer and he read microbiology as well. What you study in school isnt relative to what you will become, start with comptia A, it brushes your knkowlegde about how the computer works and all the primary things you need to know about a computer, another step to take is to decide which area of computing you would be interested in, be it programming, system developer, networking. etc, once you have gotten your I.T career path then pick up your books and start studying, finally, request for an internship in I.T companies, you might even work without getting paid.
Good luck!!

grin bwahahahahahahaha! So you mean say E.coli & S.aureus don tire you. Guy! Lock up! Go and learn some programming languages and pursue the career that suits you. Make sure the packages you go for are hot and in high demand. No need for reapplying for bsc or going for MSc. in computer science. as for me, mcb/biotech till I die!

In our modern high-tech world, programmers and IT developers are among the top 5 most in-demand professions in the world. Therefore, these professions are becoming more and more in demand in the labor market. Now in the process of becoming a digital environment, there is a shortage of good specialists. The development of the application market will make this shortage even more acute. Therefore, if you have been looking at this profession for a long time, did not know how to become an app developer with no experience , now is the time to start taking the first steps in development - you will definitely not be left without work.
