Horus: Justice was served
Have u also asked urself why it is always served to the poor? Why was it not served to Faruk Lawan in the NASS? There was also a video evidence and yet nothing was done.

adewasco2k: Now i blame that guy that shot the video, he should have expected same! first day i saw the video, i was like, this women are in for it already because such videos go viral.

When in this country are we going to ever do something right? dismissing them? even the ogas at the top does same.

They should have just been punished and warned.

I am hating this country already. #queued up at Syria Embassy
You've just proved to the world the kind of person you are, a corrupt minded person. Only a corrupt person will see another man committing a crime and will keep quiet simply because he thinks everyone does the same. Who will then clean up the mess if everyone thinks and behaves like you? People like you will praise America and condemn Nigeria (as you just did) for the decadence in our society yet, you still continue with this kind of mindset.
Please, go to Syria

Nice move by the police. My take is that sooner than later people will be asked to switch all digital device or have phones seized before any negative act is done.
Maybe next time they will ask the driver to follow them where they could ask for the bribe with little chance of recording. The provost should begin to wear plain cloths and mix with the public to see first hand what there people do on duty and serve warnings or punishments. Is not enough fro them to wear white cap and belts, seat in the office and do nothing. They should be sent to the streets, to revive all they do before from enforcing dress codes and conducts of the officer on duty.
meanwhile i salute the way Nigerians are beginning to cob what happens around them by providing such evidence. Una do well !!!!! cool cool cool

Police Provost Marshals, what happened to reduction in rank as punishment. Mark you, you are not better than them and whoever digs a pit will fall into it. I don't support taking bribe but the punishment was too harsh and probably vindictive, period.

Serves them right. IGP Abubakar came into office on the back of controversy and has been very determined from day one to make sure his tenure is one where a lot of wrongs are made right. How many policemen have been dismissed in times gone by for such actions?

Thanks to technology and the new IGP, things are taking a new shape in Nigeria. Please people should capture such things and keep them coming.

fresh_dude: You are a bastarrd and a disgrace to the people that paid for your education and even your teachers. You are the kind of parasite that should be expunged from our society, I mean you should be shot dead. Bribe-takers have been brought to book and you're here spewing tosh? If they're your family members, tell them to make a honest living, that is if there's such a phrase in your lineage.
u are disgrace 2 ur generation 4 calling me a bastard in a public forum just because my opinion on issue dont tally with yours...

Pizzanatty: Some will be happy and say rubbish because of your hatred for Police...but remember irrespective of what thing or say about this happening, no one has the right to video any officer on duty, when you are shot dead and placed evidence to nail you will advice those making those videos to desist.
Also Police is not the only corrupt outfit in this Nation
That woman who is got a family is now made unemployed,no thanks to the fact that senior officers benefit from the (Roger) sitting down in their offices...
You that is happy, note this: Nobody HOLY PASS
Am not trying to support the act,but let not justice be not only in the tent of the defenceless and less previleged

I called you a bastarrd because you spoke like a bastarrd and like the bastarrd you are, you have come to talk rubbish again. If that thing you wrote still makes sense to you then you're not worthy of one more breath of air you bastarrd. Thank God they caught your mother, your father is next and one by one your sorry lineage will evaporate.

I know they are big men committing crimes with shirt and tie, go and film them too. film that lecturer who is disturbing you to sleep with him, film the corrupt government official asking for bribe before he gives that contract, and while you are at that, i am still waiting for farouk lawan to be arrested and prosecuted but i dont pity this woman. we got to start from somewhere people. if her job meant alot to her she would not be collecting money from the road, she ought to have known better.

By the way as you film be very discreet and careful, my friend was beaten mercilessly the other day by common local government environmental enforcers or so.

steg0miah: I have PRAYED for NIGERIA, FASTED for NIGERIA, WEPT for NIGERIA, Currently I'm just WATCHING NIGERIA like a
film... (Help give my movie a title)

Rivers State is Boiling, ASUU is Striking, Governors fumming, Nigerians Toiling, Boko Haram bombing, PHCN holding, MTN blowing, President Sacking, Evil booming, Poverty roaming and the masses
moaning.

Our senators want my 6year old niece to get married as soon as possible, they earn millions every month as take home pay, Militants earn N75,000 per month, yet Graduates earn
N19,800 'gladly'. PHD holders driving Dangote's Truck and Perishing in our
deplorable highways. Force men collecting bribes and disgracing us all over youtube.

Our leaders have looted the future of generations unborn; and have money they cannot spend in several lifetimes.
I have no security in my country, but send troops to keep peace in another man’s land.

I can't practice the religion of my choice and may get killed
for my belief.

We have hundreds of dams, but no water. So I drink ‘pure’ water
that roils my innards. And yet our leaders are busy trading words (obasanjo and atiku) and trying to resolve party issues. Smh!

What is the future of our generation? Nigeria is in a sick state. Some one should please call a Doctor, read a news where a prison was closed down in Netherlands, wonder when that will happen in Nigeria...

God Bless Nigeria

Isiterere: justice served cold and chilled

I wish this could be extended to the high and mighty in the society: FARUQ and OTEDOLA (offeree and offeror )

ALL IZZ WELL

The truth of the matter is that no one is above the law.but history has shown that some mighty people have escape the law n some of the mighties had to face the law.similarly some of the poor escape the law n some face the law.Bottom line is either mighty or poor, once caught breaking the law u are liable to face the law.

That was under Jonathan,

Under buharri, police can even give you change on video after extorting you and nothing will happen.
