I read with dispear of how ignorant christians fall for the cheap propaganda by those wirh little or no understanding of the bible, or better still agents of division(end time tinz) whose mission is to mislead babes in christ about the issue of tithing.
To clear your doubts,I bring the following points from the Holy scriptures.
1.gen 14:18 ....And melchizèdec the king of salem brought forth bread and wine:and he was the priest of the most high God.
verse 20....And blessed be the most high God,which hath delivered thine enemies into thine hand,and abraham gave him tithes of all.
.....From the above,tithing predates the mosaic law,and thus the tithing in the mosaic law was just a copy of what abraham did,so they paid tithes to the levi's. let see what hebrews 7:4-6 says... Now consider how great this man was,unto whom abraham paid tithe,5)verily they that are of the sons of levi(sons of jacob) who RECIEVED the PRIESTHOOD,have commandment to recieve the titjes of the people according to the law, though they come out of abraham. 6) bur He whose descent is not from them(levi)recieved tithe from abraham.
In vs 11,If therefore perfection werr by the levitical preisthood for under it the people recieved the law,why was there need for another priest to rise after the order of melchizedec and not be called after the order of Aaron(whose is from the levi tribe) vs 12) For the PRIESTHOOD being changed there is neccessity to change the law. vs14) for it is evident that our lord sprang from JUDAH(not levi which formerly had the priesthood office); of which moses spokr nothing about. vs 15)and it is more evident that after the simo
ilitude of melchizedec there arise another priest. vs 21) for those priest were made without an oath but this with an oath by him that said unto him,The lord sware and will not repent,Thou art a priest FOREVER AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEC(NOT AARON WHO IS OF THE LAW) .vs 24)But thos man (Jesus) because he comtinueth ever,hath an UNCHANGEABLE PRIESTHOOD.

SO WHAT DID JESUS SAY
1cor 9:13 Do you not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things in the temple?
1cor9:14 Even so hath LORD ORDAINED THAT THOSE WHO PREACH THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE BY THE GOSPEL.

Finally
gal 3:7 know ye therefore that they(us) ehich are of faith,thesame as the children of abraham.
so if our father paid tithe to an unchanging priest (melchizedec) what do you expect from his kids?
.gal 3:11.....the just shal live by faith(guess what abraham is the father of faith).

dont be decieved by non christians who think by going to church, they assume they are christians...
