Hello nairalanders... A lot of us are often guilty of beating our chest about how fast we can go on the highway e.g 150km/hr, 180km/hr Ɛ.t.c. That is however different from Τђε speed at which we can comfortably maintain/manage without endangering ones life. Personally i max out at 140km/hr, not because I can't go any faster but simply because our roads αяє notoriously capable of developing craters overnight no thanks †̥σ shoddy work by some contractors. So let's hear yours, keep Τђε ball rolling! Happy new week and please don't allow your oga at the top †̥o nab you attempting †̥σ comment on nairaland while you're on duty. ℓ☺ℓ! 1 Like |

Siena: 140 mph (225 km/h) - private UK road. Thought u would say In Nigeria! None of our Naija roads can handle that speed. For me, on any highway - 140km/hr average. Not that I cannot do more, but that's how I drive to anywhere and considering our roads. Have done 180km/hr before on Abuja - Kaduna 3 Likes |

I would say 50mph to 60mph range. Its alot easier for me to control my car at that speed and my MPG is wonderful (28MPG not bad for an 04 murano running on 89 to 92 octane) For highways, 73 to 80 mph. I am not Comfortable at speed over 100mph (I break sweat and my heart races). I dont need an adrenaline rush from a high way with people driving like morons. I rather do it on a race track or a roller coaster. (You can exprience as much as 3G on a roller coaster ) 3 Likes |

It varies...depends on the car, road condition and flow of traffic. If all is well....small car 120kph...big car 140kph....and that's within city limits. I am really afraid to drive interstate because I will be driving at unsafe speeds...and don't realize it. |
