Lakayanah: I had sick baby some years back that was hospitalized for a whole week no improvement a lady came to visit someone else saw my baby prescribed a drug to be given to my baby. I got to the pharmacy the one they had, had expired I bought within 2days my baby was up and doing.clap for urslf u hear, 9c xperiment u did wid ur bby, if tins had gone wrng along d line, i trux nairaland mods to publish a post with d caption, DILEMA OF A NAIRALANDER WHO LOST HER CHILD TO EXPIRESD DRUGS, and am sure d story will b changed frm i bought d expired drug to i neva knew dey gave me an xpired drug, nw u wanna tk credit for risking dt childs life, SMH for u 3 Likes |

This is why most nigerians die before age 60. They like dumping anything into their stomach. I often hear people say "disease no dey kill black man". Its ignora.ce on their part cos we don't keep statistics and records of those that died of all forms of chronic diseases. Most poultry farms will ask me weather they should throw away their dead birds or eat it cos they ve spent so much money rearing it before disease struck. please, i beg u all. Watch what u eat always and stay healthy. |

Time for a reality check: The expiry date is just an conservative estimate often generated by some computer. People should only consider the expiry date as guide when buying to know the approximate shelf life of the food. However common sense should prevail; people should irrespective of the expiry date, personally inspect the food to see if it is still fresh enough to be edible. After all sometimes food become rotten or inedible well before the expiry date, does it mean that you eat rotten food just because it has not passed the expiry date? Bottom line is : check the food, if it is edible, eat it! 1 Like |
