Katsumoto:

Its not scarcity as such; the men marry the girls at 9 and divorce them at 17 so as to marry other 9 year olds.

You just hit the nail on the head grin

francisbiz: Tell your sharia-sick-yerima to abolish sharia and girl-child marriage, and your condition will be a thing of the past.
Instead yerima left you to go and spend foreign currency to marry 13-year-old girl-child; your bokoharam does not help issues.
No other tribe can help you.
If you women renounce islam and believe that JESUS IS LORD and come to our churches, before december you all shall be hooked up.

Not only hookup but marry a real man; a Christian cool

it has been said that snake can not kill spoon just because anger is in a state of constant arousal, however if changes don't occur it is better to speak out against evil in low and high places, but then killing in the name is actually rage against the machine.

ignore the calling for mass and maths rebellion because the real question should be can I hold a dollar

Let them appeal to Northern Muslims to stop incessant killing of men who would have married them. Else, their problems had just started. That is one of the effects of BH.

Who says we are not in the END TIME..

Isaiah 4:1 And in that day (END TIME DAYS), seven women shall take hold of one man, saying,
We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us
be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

Unfortunately the north is running itself to extinction. The first point of scare was the introduction of Sharia law. Before that law, Zamfara was just like any other northern city bubbling with activities and not scarce of other ethnic group. Immediately the law was introduced and enforcement started, lots of people especially non indigenes fled due to fear of massacre.

They wanted to be Islamic and wanted an Islamic state, but they forget that Islam like every other religion its in our heart and in practice and not even all indigenes are truly Islamic themselves. Now, with the BH issue causing the northern desertification by other indegens, Zamafara is even further hit with more loss of even its own indegens.

Youth Corpers don't want to go there, no one wants to go there. Business activity is paralyzing. its becoming a desolate land. People are avoiding the place. Now, this is what extremism cause, we should learn to accommodate others and learn to leave in peace. I city that once bubbled, is now becoming a desert. How will their girls get men? when everything they built is crumbling one over the other.

people make place, when people desert a place, it becomes a desert. no matter what you have there.

So it's true afterall, this scarcity thingy. shocked

Well, the chinese on the other hand are complaining of lack of wives - an agreement can be reached between the two countries, there's still hope.

Aswear! So, in the nearest future, we'd be hearing names like "Ibrahim Chin Lee" or "Mustapha Jon Kim Yung" ..sweet!!!

adamooye5: No fewer than 8,000 women on Thursday matched to the Zamfara Hisbah Commission, seeking the state government’s assistance to enable them to get married.

Led by the Chairperson of the Zamfara Widows Association, Hajiya Suwaiba Isa, and the patron, Alhaji Sa’idu Goshe, the women said they were not living a normal life and needed husbands to become whole.

“Many of us cannot afford two meals in a day because there are no men to support us,” they said.

The patron said the association had over 8,000 women, comprising 5,380 divorcees, 2,200 widows, 1,200 orphans and 80 others, whom he said, were looking for men to marry.

He said the women also needed assistance to purchase household items such as beds, mattresses and other basic necessities needed to move to their husbands’ houses.

Goshe appealed to the commission to assist the association in screening suitors for the women.

He said the screening would determine the suitors’ health status, source of livelihood and ability to maintain a family.
