The governor has increased the monthly vote from N5 million to N10 million. He said this at the weekend when he visited patients at the Umaru Shehu Ultra Modern Hospital where he partook in the meal prepared for them. Speaking earlier, chairperson of the feeding committee Hajjiya Gambo Dori said despite the increasing number of patients being admitted daily due to the ongoing insurgency, the committee is trying its best to feed every patient on bed at any public hospital within the city of Maiduguri.  |
