just asking tho cos i wanna knw... couldnt post this topic on d diary section cos if i do, no1 will be allowed to comment and i dnt think d mod there is active. if a diary thread is posted on front page, itz nt necessary for it to be commented on. LIKES are cool.... and people hardly visit the diary section. if i am not mistaken, it is d least visited section on nairaland.

In my opinion, it is a violation of their privacy. The diary section is hidden from guests anyway so front page for it is not going to be so nice.

I am moving this to the general section is it is more suitable.

but d 'subject' said something like "write about your life. LET THE WORLD READ ABOUT YOU".... if it was violation of privacy, even members shuldnt be allowed to view... only d owner of d diary shuld be permitted. alot of people misuse public online diaries by posting personal things about themselves that should be kept private especially family and relationship issues. if u read my diary, u will see that my posts r general... nothing personal... well anyhow sha... u've made YOUR point

Why should they make FP? Front page is for news and updates, how does a diary fit in? People can't even make comments on the diary thread.

As long as you cannot comment, there is no point putting someone's diary on front page. Lots of diarylanders update their diaries because they feel good writing about their lives, more like talking to themselves which is cool by them anyway. No need for the front page thing.
