SailorXY:
You think the story is not possible?
I have seen a young guy who just came down from the pedestrian bridge @ Sand-Field Bus Stop Victoria Island being harassed & threatened by common Man O' War for refusing to hand over his bag pack for search. It was a very bizarre situation

I've seen this a few times and at first wondered what they were doing, basically harassing young guys wearing back packs.

Funny thing is, they're just not intimidating, the guy will just be walking or in some cases ended up fighting with them.

It's the number 1 problem with our people, give someone power and watch them abuse it..... Police, military, man o war, OPC, vigilantes, security guards etc etc

I agree the story seems difficult to believe but this is Nigeria, anything can happen. Haven't you seen Police openly disobeying traffic rules? So I don't really doubt the story.

O soldier:

the point is clear, if u are trained driver u arent to have know that when the road is clear u dont need to obey trafic light, though im suporting the assult but you are at fault.
Many have tried that and ended up dead, hospitalised or jailed. Better safe than sorry.
