Golden Eaglets' U-17 gaffer, Manu Garba has listed 21 players to fly Nigeria’s flag at the 15th FIFA U-17 World Cup finals taking place in the United Arab Emirates between October 17th and November 8th, 2013

Captain Mohammed Musa, 2013 U17 African Championship topscorer, Isaac Success and playmaker Idowu Akinjide lead the pack of the youngsters who will be aiming to make Nigeria the first country to lift the trophy for a fourth time.

Nigeria were grouped alongside reigning world cadet champions Mexico, Sweden and Iraq in Group F of the tournament.

Eaglets’ first game will be against the Mexicans coming up in Al Ain City on 19th October.

CIV blocked d route and d team suffered. That boy was d answer. both right and left. good goal creator and scorer. During d training and friendly he created more chances and scored more goals than anyone. Calabar fans were salivating to watch him at d world stage. Which excuse do u have? ? Cos he outshined ur Isaac Success and d rest? ?

I was seriously looking forward to watch this this Theophilus Solomon boy at the world cup cup cos I've heard and read so much about him. I was surprised to learn that he has been omitted from the final list cos "he was hiding an injury". I just hope that won't hunt the team cos the guy is damn good.
