I don't think it's about being "poke-nosey", (Martin0), but moreso trying to be conversational.
It's not like tons of Nigerians are dying to chat with us "Americanas"...lol. Especially not the females...
Thank you to those who are brave enough to do so though.... wink

So if you had to choose between Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Owerri or Ibadan, which would you choose?

Oh I'm sorry...meant to do so.
I used to use most of my real name and age in my former moniker....
Then I changed it to my favorite former city...it has most of the name and then I added "lia" to add the feminine touch I wanted.

Hey, I lived there. Remember when i mention ed i stayed south for alittle bit. My mom's people are from there. Very interesting

I converse....that's what I do.
But when I'm ready to retreat...then I do so.
I've gotten into enough situations on Nairaland (under my former monikers)...but I'm not gonna promise that I won't say something that may be controversial to some...
I actually wanted to intermingle with the Nigerians...and have tried relentlessly.
But the reception hasn't been so good..
But guess what?
I'm not going anywhere...lol.
I've slowed down a bit...but when I feel ready to let loose...I will (respectfully) of course cheesy

Who I am on this site..is who I am in real life.
My former students always said over the years that I'm a big kid...cause I love humor...and laughing! I love it!
