I've been having this argument with a "future in law" on why women should be encouraged to join politics. he keeps insisting women shouldn't and in particular he won't EVER allow his wife try it. I'm concerned cause my sister is currently dating this guy and I know she'll someday go into politics ( having a political office or appointment). This issue is causing alot of rift in their relationship and I keep wondering why 9ja men are so against encouraging women their wives esp to join politics. Kindly share your views on this please. |
