drstan: activation energy?? First define activation energy
activation energy is da'energy required for a reaction take place by lowering the reaction.

FrancisTony: chcl3 + koh -- kcl + h20 + chcl2
wrong
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by Mikebis(m): 4:40pm On Oct 26, 2013
FrancisTony: it's activation energy
d ansa is quenchd rxt
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by Mikebis(m): 4:42pm On Oct 26, 2013
FrancisTony: activation energy is da'energy required for a reaction take place by lowering the reaction.
chai..bro dat is not activatn energy defnitn o.activatn energy is d energy barrier dat mst b over b4 a chemical rxt can occur.
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by Mikebis(m): 4:52pm On Oct 26, 2013
FrancisTony: oboi, do u mean exorthermic and endothermic
lol..no,i mean endergonic nd exergonic reactn they are dffrnt 4rm exothermic nd endothermic reaction
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by Nomski0(f): 5:04pm On Oct 26, 2013
Endergonic reaction is a reaction that is non spontaneous, energy is absorbed hence, delta G is positive. The opposite is for exergonic, delta G is negative, and energy is lost.

grin
Mikebis: lol..no,i mean endergonic nd exergonic reactn they are dffrnt 4rm exothermic nd endothermic reaction
exergonic is anoda name for exothermic. And endergonic anoda name endothermic. Catabolic processes is an example of exergoni while anabolic processes is an example of endergonic
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by Nobody: 5:46pm On Oct 26, 2013
Mikebis: wrong
oya what's the equation and define quenched reaction.
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by drstan(m): 5:56pm On Oct 26, 2013
Mikebis: d ansa is quenchd rxt
is dat d ful word, "quenchd"?
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by drstan(m): 6:00pm On Oct 26, 2013
What d ful meaning of...
1.EDTA
2.ATP
3.FADH
4.NADH
5.NAD
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by Odilop: 6:36pm On Oct 26, 2013
FrancisTony: oya what's the equation and define quenched reaction.
a. Reaction is said to b quenched when it is brought to halt abruptly
Re: SCIENCE GURUS LODGE by Mikebis(m): 6:42pm On Oct 26, 2013
Nomski0: Endergonic reaction is a reaction that is non spontaneous, energy is absorbed hence, delta G is positive. The opposite is for exergonic, delta G is negative, and energy is lost.
yap korect, buh u can also put it dis way.
Exergonic rxt is a process in which d P.E of d final stage is less dan dat of d initial state is one dat yield energy(energy out)
whle endergonic rxt is a process whch d P.E of d final stage is greata dan dat of d initial state is one dat requires energy(energy in)
they also similar to exothermic nd endothermic.d final nd initial cn also b refrd to as d product nd reactant,we all knw dat wen d product is greata dan reactant, its endothermic nd wen reactant is grta dan product, its exothermic.
Exothermic nd exergonic are negative, whch cn take place in spontaneous, whl endothermic nd endergonic are positive, whch cant take place in spontaneous.

i wll gv u 50%

FrancisTony: oya what's the equation and define quenched reaction.
i cn c d work of gugle in ur answer,i wonda where u c potassium hydroxide.i gues gugle no gv u d eqn.lol.no mind me,here is it.
RNH2 + 3NaOH + CHCl3-->R-N=C +3NaCl +3H2O.
Whr R is knw as alkyl
CHCl is knw as chloroform
R-N is knw has alkyl wt single bond nd nitrogen.
4rm d rxt heat is involvd
alkali react wt chloroform when heated to gv alkyl isocyamide i.e R-N=C,whr = means double bond.
Take note of dis,it wll defnitely help u.

b.retardation factor.
2.list some of d applictn of ion change in chromatography.
3.calculate d fraction of solute after four operatns.d distributn ratio of d solid is 3.
3.drive d eqn dat rlate d distributn ratio to d partitn coefficient.KD
