This series is currently one of the best around; a fact that was cemented with the various awards it swept away from other great series like Game of Thrones at the Oscar award. When i first ordered for the series on DVD, i never envisaged that i was on a ride filled with the longing and desire of an Oliver twist. An encounter with this series didn't only turn me an addict, i also became emotionally attached to the characters. I must say, this series is one of the very best i have seen in recent years, and a series i would gladly recommend to any girl i hope to impress by my choice-able clairvoyant nature.

Main Cast

Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a CIA intelligence officer assigned to the Counterterrorism Center.
Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine Sergeant and a Marine Scout Sniper who was rescued by Delta Force after being held by al-Qaeda as a prisoner of war for eight years.
Rupert Friend as Peter Quinn, a CIA black ops SOG/SAD operative.
Morena Baccarin as Jessica Brody, Nicholas Brody's wife.
Jackson Pace as Chris Brody, Nicholas Brody's son.
Morgan Saylor as Dana Brody, Nicholas Brody's daughter.
Sarita Choudhury as Mira Berenson, Saul's estranged wife.
Tracy Letts as Senator Andrew Lockhart, the powerful, authoritative and commanding Committee Chairman.
F. Murray Abraham as Dar Adal, a retired black ops specialist.
Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson, formerly the CIA's Middle-East Division Chief and the new Acting Director. He is Carrie's old boss and mentor.

Lets meet here if you also love this series.

I've been following it and I gotta say I was blown away by the season 2 finale. The 3rd season has kinda been dull so far in my opinion.

very good show apart from the rabid CIA-officer. carrie is mentally-retardëd! brody played his role well - i liked how he dealt with his friend when he realised he's been boning his wife.

season 3 is yet to kick off - i have not even seen brody yet. his daughter has lost it & carrie has carried on where she left off in the last 2 seasons.

I am kind of busy now, which has made it very difficult for me to catch up with the season three. But, i must confess, the season 2 finale was mind blowing. No matter how farsighted one is in the matters of series, the final scenes of the finale was one that was never anticipated; it just came out of the blue.

Guy, how far? Na wa o... It wasn't hard to use tact to comment. It was pretty obvious from Coogar's post that she wasn't up to date all you could have said was "Brody is in it, you'll see him when you catch up." But no, you have to shout a semi-yab-spoiler. Soooooo behind... as if 1 or 2 episodes qualifies as soooo behind lol.
Oh by the way Brody is NOT 'now Venezuela'... Venezuela, the last I heard, is still a country! And bar any South American gender-bending operation I think Brody is still... eerrrmmm male grin
Just messing with ya bro. I beg no post slight spoilers.

The CIA is bad!!! So all that they put Carrie through was for her to establish a cover and she was in on the deal.

I should have known that Sol was putting Carrie through that for a good reason. He is too fond of her to treat her just like that for no reason.

the second that strange lawyer came to visit Carrie the 1st time in the nut house. I started wondering if the whole thing wasn't a misdirection. by midway through the last episode I was sure it was some kind of sting, just didn't have any idea of the end game and target.

She does annoying things at times but she is right most of the time.

she's stüpid most of the time.....
like when she almost jeopardised an operation & a marksman had to shoot her shoulder to put her down. what about when brody was being hanged & she climbed the barricade shouting his name - i was surprised she wasn't lynched by the iranian mob. who does that? like her screams would stop the execution?

True that. That's because the people they copied it from only had TWO seasons so the Yanks didn't have any freebie ideas to duplicate.
