This is typical British propaganda to paint the Igbos as uncivilised savages, when we're actually Jews, the chose people of God, who will be redeemed in an era when we Jews will no longer have to work, but will live like kings and spend all our days worshipping God, while the non-Jews, like the British and other tribes of Nigeria will be willingly serving us Jews like servants because that's why God has created them in the first place.

Lose this fantasy or you'll lose yourself, if you haven't already.

I appreciate this movie and i wouldn't tag it a British scheme. Certain aspects of Western Civilization are not bad afterall. A nice expose' of contacts between two unique cultures and the results of such connections.
I also found a pre independence movie on youtube entilted Three roads to tomorrow. Someone might like to post it here.

In the colonial era, the European administrators in Igboland used powerful chiefs empowered to exercise authority over the masses to make their administrative work easier. The chiefs were empowered to collect taxes for the colonial administrators, enforce laws and generally promote peace and a vibrant society.

In Agbaja, which comprises of most towns in the present Udi and Ezeagu local governments of Enugu state and beyond, one man held sway. His name was Chief Onyeama Onwusi, the Okwuru Ora of Agbaja. He hails from Eke in the present day Udi local government area. Onyeama was also the man who supported the establishment of the Catholic Church in his home town.

Legend has it that Chief Onyeama was so powerful that he could come to a function and point out a woman he likes, and his servants will lift the woman and take him to the palace for the Chief to marry right away, no questions asked. See more pictures here.........
