We go to church every sunday to receive the words of God and be free from sin. Most atimes, we just forget about what was preached in the church immediately we left the church premises thereby going back to our former sinful state.

The question is, like what was preached in your church last sunday, did you put it in your daily practices throughout the week?

The preacher talked about Gen 1, after God had created the earth, Verse 2. The Earth was without form and void and plenty darkness. However, when God stepped in, He didn't confess the issue (which was evident). He spoke what he wanted to see and the words caused the change he desired and he Himself confirmed it was good. Lesson learnt: as a child of God, face whatever represents a challenge/darkness in your light and speak the right words in faith to counter the negative situation. Of course, you also need to ACT positively where required. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Speak/choose wisely what you say as it determines what you experience. I've been implementing this and I believe my positive experiences will follow accordingly.

Answers: Paying tithes and offering; mostly, Yes

Acting in accordance to morals; Mostly No!

As religious as Nigeria is, If Nigerians acted according to the words they hear not just on Sundays but on Fridays (and other coded times), will Nigeria still be this morally bankrupt? I think not.

Can I summarize by saying no-one "really" follows what is preached; at least not usually beyond the 1st few days after the preaching. Ok, MOST do not!

You're in church and waiting for service to end so you can corner the new chick and start a "brotherly chat", what can you practice from the sermon when you've started plotting your next adventure. . . Right under God's nose!

Depends on the message. Some messages are revelational, teachings that builds ur spirit man up. They cannot be physically practiced. Besides, you may not always remember what was preached. Afterall God's word is food to our spirit man, it nourishes it. Do you remember what you ate 3days ago?

I nor dey go church but I dey practice the right thing. Many people going to church today are just going just for going sake. They don't practice what they teach them. They're hypocrites who what you to practice what they don't
