Nobody is saying that Mikel is better than Yaya, but putting all the criteria into consideration, Mikel deserves to be crowned as Africa's best in the outgoing year. His personal contribution to the national squad at AFCON (Africa's biggest soccer fiesta) was far above that of Yaya.
