Your sory reminds me of the harrowing video of this Florida woman who shot her son
in a shooting range. Her act was so deliberate, so assured, easy and still. . . .

And the stillness and solemnity of your short story has a poignancy to it.

For such relatively few words, you were able to convey a lot, he sanity of insanity to insane people especially.
