Ogbeche77: Stop misleading peeps, I served in Abeokuta and I registered at tescom for state alawee, I was paid fully.. I don't know where peeps get this news that those who serve in the cities don't get paid, its a farce.. We were told same thing as well, many corpers were discouraged, so they didn't even submit their docs to tescom for processing..
You ll be given a cheque of 55K few days to your passing out, if you are posted to any public school anywhere in the state, submit the necessary docs at Oke Mosan, then you are good to go

As much as I hate to do dis quote nd unquote thingy nd make it look like we're disputing each other, i would gain nothing by misleading anybody. U were lucky to be paid @ abk. Even wen u go to Tescom in any lg, dey don't pay everybody and d probability of being paid in abk compared to any rural lg is very slim. E.g the batch C dt just passed out from Ijebu north east, only 2 corpers were paid because dey serve in d bush. Btw, dis is something d abk peeps der are complaining about. A lot of them are in camp presently. Tescom selects mostly rural schools.

Compared 2 d last batch, dis new set of soldiers do nothing. U're allowed to wear what u like, go to maami even during parade, get to parade @ ur own tym. The soldiers here are almost useless. Camp officials would always appear mean. Bt its all a facade. Try as much as u can to enjoy camp. It's once a lifetym. Unless u want 2 carry it over (God forbid). Choosing OGUN state camp wasn't a mistake dear.

Make i jst talk true for once..na only big stadium ds ogun camp get ooo..welfarism isnt close to average(poor toilet and bathrum system,mad ventilation element,food timetable is rigid,,,rice,eba,bread na almost evryday)

prisi002: U want ur service year to be comfy, u want state allowance and still be able 2 live on ur fed. allowance(definitely possible). Then avoid Abeokuta, Otta, Ijebu nd oda cities @ all cost. Ders as much fun anywhere else e.g Sagamu, Ikenne. I can speak for Ikenne tho. Most of d corpers in Abeokuta can testify. There's nothing der. U spend a lot nd get little. Besides if u're aiming for honours award then u shouldn't go 2 d cities. I hope y'all wuld be wise.
