Finally and gradually the clueless fisher man is doing what the Northern islamaofascist oligarchy refused to do for their own people for fear of being on equal ground which will give rise to questions and even the very foundation of Islam which has always been a tool of control in the hands of the Fulani invaders against our lost Hausa,Kanuri brothers and the rest of the tribes that has been swallowed up by Islam by force under the power of the sword.

Finally the child that grew up in the banks of the river nun whilst watching the sombrero river banks will unmask the face of our long lost fellow black Africans by directly making it possible for their sons and daughters to attain western education which the Barbarian Fulanis invaded long time ago and dominated for yrs whilst keeping them in slavery, poverty and in ignorance .

The enslavement of our brothers in the North is one of the greatest human tragedy that has ever befallen the black man that no one has ever voiced out because the people themselves are so lost that they themselves doubt their very existence as a people hence they remain captives to their fulani invaders.

Now history is being rewritten ,all we can do is to wait, watch and see how long Nigeria will last and see the lasting effect of this policy on this Fulani Islamaofacist oligarchy.......The Fulani man would be more than ready to go his ways ,than to have a large number of his subject in the North become orientated in the ways of life of the Southern Nigeria..........

It's no big deal. tongue
Well, yeah. But it is also something EVERY SINGLE former leader in Nigeria since Independence, including Northern Leaders who have ruled the most, have refused or failed to do. We see this same trend in some other areas like Inland Water ports, Agriculture, Rails, Power, Aviation, Elections, FOI, etc. Something must be DIFFERENT about President Jonathan- at least in some areas. And, it is a Good 'Difference'.

Then you don't know who the almajaris are because the real almajris don't live with their parents. They live and fend for themselves through begging.

-Give them education and the scales will begin to fall from their eyes.
-Give them education and they will become more enlightened and aware of theirselves, their worth and environment.
-Give them education and they will begin to ask questions and demand answers
....Their much enlightened past and present leaders knew this and that was(and is still) their fear..that is what the president is systematically doin, tearing down the walls of illiteracy...but he can't do it alone.

I do not think that the idea behind the schools has anything to do with western education. I think it is to remove the kids frm the street to gather in a more organised enviroment. They will still do all the islamic things and learn most likely in arabic.
Pls someone should enlighten us so we knw exactly what this is all about.

What's wrong with our president? While other world leaders are celebrating scientific breakthroughs in their country, our president is busy commissioning Almajiri schools. Is it a must the presidency must be involved in commissioning of such schools?!

All the goverment primary and tertiary institutions, how many of these institutions were they able to equip and manage in the first place not to talk about their new almajiri schools? Our leaders are not good thinkers. I can't see how these schools will change the lives of these children than to brainwash them and be one sided regarding their faith and religion.

That school isn't just a school but a pointer to our value system here in the South of Nigeria when it comes to dealing with a people of different region and way of life because we believe in 'live and lets live'...

That school if built and pursued judiciously since the 1940s,50s,60s,70s,80s,and even before the dawn of this new century would have saved Nigeria a lot of headache that we are having today but i thank God that a people that has been so marginalized and left on the back bench of Nigeria's politics and policies has produced a man that said to himself 'i'll not repay evil for evil' neither will i live in the past ugly history of animosity created by these invaders from North Africa.

If Nigeria remains one single undivided entity in the next 40 yrs you'll begin to see the vision behind that school.........you don't tackle violent sworn enemies with violence but with wisdom you'll command the harvest of his farm produce, it may tarry but it's more better this way than through the nozzle of a gun.

Nigeria must rise and take her place in this world and not always being ridiculously referred to as; that most populous West African nation that is bordered by the north of Africa and resides gigantically by the banks of the Atlantic ocean in a deep slumber. The den of thieves ,spammers ,prostitutes and all manner of dishonest people and a ground for a grand scale corruption and thievery that is unprecedented in modern history. It is just a matter of time because two can't walk unless they agree.

Nigeria's greatest problem is about bridging the gaps of limitation that has befallen us and once these ideological gaps are bridged the Boko Haram will not thrive because they are the real sons and daughters of an example of a real peaceful co-existence,the Niger Delta militants will not find sympathizers because there will no more warmongering fellows left among them but a happy and contented people, the MASSOB group will lay down their arms willingly because they will want to go back to commerce and production which is what they know how to do best and the OPC will teach our children the love for education because this is who they are and every one of our generations will read our history and call us uncivilized because this where we are right now by clinging to greed, ethnic bigotry ,tribal jingoism and all ills that deters development of a people.

Mark my words this house of the black man must stand the test of time and that responsibility lies with us......Build Nigeria destroy Nigeria it's all a collective effort.

I must confess that I have not seen such brilliance in this forum before such has this. Though I am not quite happy with you picking out the Fulanis like you did (every major tibe has contributed their quota), but you were indeed right. I think every major tribe (yoruba, igbo, hausa/fulani) has been the major problem of this country. It is not suprising that it is taking a person from the minority to bring (or at least begin) that needed change we have craved in this country. I would love a situation whereby no major tribe will rule over this country for at least the next 20yrs or more.

God bless Nigeria, God bless the black race.

This is one argument that i have spent time on with a Fulani friend of mine that my father trusted with everything he had because he was spotless in all ramification and i bet you ,you can never see that rare show of loyalty from people in this 'me me me world of ours'...now coming back to argue like learned fellows that have passed the test of ethnic bigotry unless when it comes to taking harmless jibes which is always a joke. grin
The Fulanis aren't black continental Africans but migrants from the Arabic world that dominated the Huasas, kanuris and host of other tribes in the Northern part of Nigeria,Cameroun,Ghana, senegal ,mali etc mixed with the local population of continental Africans through the sword by introducing Islam as a way of life.

The original fulas or fulbe known as fulani today are originally from the berbers tribe from North Africa.

It might also interest you to know that the Fulanis were still migrating armed with Islam and the sword when colonization and civilization caught up with them ,hence the blatant refusal to intermarry or mix again with the original continental Africans except for those that they have conquered and kept as their cannon fodder examples are the Hausas and the Kanuris and some part of the middle belt of Nigeria.

It will also interest you to know that an Hausa man can never speak Fula which is the original Fulani local language and the Fulani man will only be mad to speak it to your hearing because this is their secret code for serious discussion........i did research things in the North ,they spent time rearing cattle around us while feigning ignorance and understudying us ,we too spent time going close enough to understudy them because they have an agenda and their agenda is to push forward the dreams of Usman Dan Fodio islamic empire by conquering continental Africans and spread Islam and lord over us which has been the bane of Nigeria's politics today (born to rule mentality) .

What they and the West couldn't achieve in slavery and abduction of continental Africans , the Fulas wants it in show of force and treachery......but the black man with his simple nature can never be understood by these our dangerous neighbors from the East and West and this is were we believe that there is a force behind this life .........if only your eyes should open to see how these people actually partitioned Africa amongst themselves you'll be shaking your head.......though the economic and cultural slavery still exists in the hands of the West till this very moment though that should be a topic for another day.

I must really say that Jonathan have been fair enough to the north irrespective of the fact that the country had past leaders from that region who had failed to build schools of such nature for their own people rather impoverishing the whole nation. I served in a community in Ogbia local government area where the president came from and I must say Jonathan needs to look at those in the riverine areas in terms of primary and secondary schools. The schools are old and of poor quality with less teaching and learning materials in them. He should also understand that just like the nomad, there are some children who follow their parents to fishing port and find it difficult to go to school during school hours. For me, he should also build model schools for his people as well as improve other schools in the country. What is good for the goose is good for the gender.
