Prince Gbade Lana, son of the Olubadan of Ibadan, and Faruk Umar Alao, son of Chief Arisekola Alao, Aare Musulumi of Yoruba were yesterday screened by Oyo state lawmakers following their nomination as new members of the state cabinet, 5 weeks after the governor dissolved the state's executive council.

Prior to yesterday's screening exercise, Governor Abiola Ajimobi had earlier sent the names of new members of his executive council to the state's legislators for confirmation. The list which includes some members of the immediate past council also has new members, especially children of some royal fathers and eminent personalities in the state.

All the 12 nominated commissioners appeared before the House with 40 copies of their CVs.

The former commissioners who are making their return to Ajimobi’ government include Barrister Adebayo Ojo, Dapo Lam-Adesina, Princess Adetutu Akhigbe Adeyemi, Dr. Muiwa Gbadegesin and Zacheus Adelabu while the new nominees are Prof. S. O. A Olaniyan, Princess Olufunke Oworu, Prince Gbade Lana, Faruk Umar Alao and Engineer Deji Akande.

Others are Honourable Adewale Lawrence Olujide and Mr. Abiodun Fatai Atanda.

uuum.These people will continue to enrich themselves either pdp,acn,apc, ddd,hiv, political party leaders and circulate positions among the elites and their family associates while nairalanders will continue to fight e-political wars not knowing that our politicians will never and can never change unless youths of this nation come out their senses to defend their future. These people are just call to do one thing: come and chop and be part of our looting in rewards to your support for the last elections.
Wake up people, if we dont fight and continue ethic and political sentiment, we will just wake up one day and see that the whole country has been sold to cabals or chinese government while our leaders and their families are no where to be found. I have a dream that sooner or later,this is what is going to happen. This is a fact.
