I was wondering if buying a locket for your boyfriend is too much for a birthday gift. Is getting it for an anniversary better?

when i read the title of the post i thought it was romantic (i assumed it was for a girl). I really dont know how appropriate a locket is for a guy.

A locket is more like a feminine stuff. The perfume is a cool idea but I like buying what will last for a long time. A wrist watch, necklace, set of ear rings and neclace wiht pendant etc. I like somthing the person will see and have a story to tell
