The Sahel region is huge, it is often referred to as the Southern Sahara because a good part of the Sahel is in the Sahara. With that said, no ethnic group in present day Nigeria is originally from Nigeria. We are all from different parents of the continent.

I believe the agbada isn't native to the Yoruba people. however, they made it popular.

agbada is Yoruba clothing influenced by the sahelians -The largest and biggest sahelian tribe is Hausa. They
design and are the biggest producers of those kind of clothing than anyone - even other sahian tribes like Tuareg, songhai zarma buy much their clothing from hausa. Some Yoruba for reasons known to them want to credit other sahelians tribe for their modern clothing but not a tribe sahel biggest and largest tribe. (Hausa)
