Chino.Elect:
PROFILES OF THE MAJOR CONTENDERS

Even though there are 23 candidates contesting in today's election, analysts have highlighted four of the candidates as frontrunners - Chief Willie Obiano (APGA); Senator Chris Ngige (APC); Comrade Tony Nwoye (PDP), and Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah (LP).

Obiano served as an Executive Director of Business Banking at Fidelity Bank Plc, having started his banking career with First Bank of Nigeria in 1981 from where he moved to Texaco Nigeria plc as an Accountant.

Nwoye, just 38, was elected President of the National Association of Nigerian Students in 2003, a platform believed to have propelled his chairmanship of the party in 2005 when he was just 31 years old.

Ngige is a medical doctor. He started his career as a civil servant and served at the National Assembly and State House clinics at different times.

Ubah, born on September 3, 1971, is the owner of Capital Oil and Gas.

All we want is good leader.

ANAMBRA GUBER UPDATE: RUN-OFF LIKELY Without any motive of behaving anti-party, but with a near-zero error analysis of the strenghts of the four major parties contesting the election in the 21 LGAs, there is a strong pointer that could be a run-off election between APGA and PDP or APGA and ACN. This analysis is a fallout of midnight brainstorming amongst Anambra political permutators who have covered the 21 LGAs as at yesterday night. In Anambra Central consisting of 7 LGAs, APGA will most likely win Anaocha, Njikoka, Awka South, Awka North. APC will most likely win Idemmili North and Idemmili South. PDP will win Dunukofia(Authur Eze's LGA). However APC may win Dunukofia if Arthur Eze fails to rig it in favour of PDP. In Anambra North equally having 7 LGAs, APGA will most likely win Anambra East and Anambra West (very little margin above PDP), Onitsha North, and Ogbaru. PDP will most likely win Onitsha South, Oyi and Ayamelum. However PDP may win Anambra west if APGA does not checkmate PDP rigging tendencies there. In Anambra South, having 7 LGAs, APGA may win Nnewi South, Orumba North. PDP may win Aguata, Orumba South, Ihiala. LP will win Nnewi north while APC will win Ekwusigo LGA if Sir Emeka Offor fails to campaign for PDP. However LP may win Ihiala if Chuma Nzeribe choose to remain quiet. From the above analysis, APGA may win about 9-10 LGAs while PDP may win 6-7 LGAs, APC may equally win 3-4 LGAs while LP may win 1 or 2 LGAs. With the above, its obvious that no party has won 2/3 of the 21 LGAs ie 14 LGAs which is what Electoral Act stipulates aside winning the highest vote cast. I expect your constructive criticisms.

Urine: With this attitude, how will the SE produce a President?

Who told you that we want to produce the president?

Power comes from God. No Nigerian president has ever worked for it. Obj never did, it was given to him on a plater of gold. Yaradua was never interested in it but he was forced to become the president even at his own will. GEJ was never thinking about being president until circumstance brought him this far.

Infact in 1999 Ekwueme was the most qualified candidate from academic, administration to all areas of human endeavor. I could still remember that debate was called for in 1998 Obj never showed up as he was not prepared for the election nor does he know what to say. It was only Ekwueme that showed up for the debate.

So in the same manner God in Heaven Will give us what is truly ours when the time comes. Its not by struggle, watch out all the people that have struggled for it, they never got it. Buhari can contest from now till the next 30years he will never be the president of Nigeria. All that we want is federal government presence of which GEJ is giving it to us in good dosage, and we are gonna vote him massively in 2015.

I don't like Obiano's face. There's something sinister about it.
Ngige is a sell out, a puppet.
Ubah is controlled by his money and have no clue what government is about.
Tony Nwoye makes a fine choice. Vote for him.

Which national politics are you talking about? Are yorobars more national in this present government than the Igbos? Presently Igbos are dominant in GEJ government and we are not gonna loose that position to you people by aligning with your Islamic Yorobar.

We are gonna vote in APGA today and vote GEJ in 2015..

According to the Electoral Act, a candidate has to win 2/3 of the LGAs in a state, alongside gaining a majority of the votes cast, in order to be returned as the winner of the election.

No,it is 25percent of votes cast in 2/3 of the LGA. Apga may likely win ,but it is a bad omen in anambra state.A few anambarians wud continue to be richer in d name of apga, while a peter obi wud bcom governor emeritus of the state.

Nasir El Rufai has been 'caged' in his hotel room in Akwa by the security agents.
The security agents say the house of arrest placed on El-Rufai is an order from the above.

That's our prayer, rather than enriching dat frog eye in bourdillon house and using our wealth to sponsor APC political jamboree just as amechi and Rochas r presently doing. We don't want a lagos godfada to dictate hw our wealth is spent.
