There has been a rumor about ASUU having it's NEC meeting today. None of the national dailies has this news and so should be discarded.
However, the chairman of ASUU, University of Ibadan, Prof Ajiboye dismissed the rumor as ASUU hasn't fixed a date for the meeting.

an impeccable source told me that they are just coming back from break . the meeting is holding i guess.. but i like pessimisism . i dont believe cos it was not made official

ASUU NEC meeting may or may not be holding. most of d peeps agitating to go back are those who are missing deir various babes and parties on campus while those saying next year are the very very lazy ones

I gotta admit I was wrong. Sorry abt dat. I relied on d info I got frm their "so-called" twitter handle. I wonder what's wrong with ASUU and their members? Why can't they educate the public on what's going on? I have lost sympathy for them, not just because of the lingering strike but because of the way they just bul.lsh.it d public and do whatever pleases them without passing the information around so parents and well wishers can know what's currently going on. This is the reason why a jobless student created a false twitter handle and successfully deceived the nation at large, and even gained 5 thousand followers in just 1 day! It is well shaa.....
