Ewuro707: @ebiboy. You want the hard truth? Your Dad is in coma and on life support which equates to a vegetative state. He is Gone. Sorry man. Please pull the plugs and let him rest. Use the money for your education. I'm so sorry but the truth is bitter. I sincerely wish you well. smiley Thank you.

Not true! More like brain dead. A vegetative state could have been much better, at least vegetables have a little bit of consciousness.

ebiboy2: blood clothed inside his brain.

Wow I'm sorry man! Blood cloths in the brain has a high fatality rate, usually if not detected early, could starve the brain of blood, thereby depriving it of oxygen, your dad most certainly has a stoke already. There is a small window of opportunity when blood clots can be treated effectively & the patient regains full functions almost immediately, your dad has long crossed that stage, he should have been operated on immediately but given how Nigeria is, I understand.

While I'm sure you would give anything on the chances your dad returns, please try to get a proper prognosis of your dad's current condition, so you don't end up spending a fortune & still losing your dad, people should know when to let go. At this point, I suggest you put on a brave face for your mum, your countenance will largely decide how well she handles this situation, focus on her & try to keep her blood pressure in check.

ur right, infact ours got to point when we realized we couldnt do more than we have done, while we were doing the little we could do, we were also preparing for the eventualities and it help us alot when it came.

I appreciate all of you who have been tirelessly praying, and to all of you who have been calling and also to all those who have given us one word of encouragement or d other. To those who have told us d bitter truth, I thank you too. But I do not doubt that God can make windows in heaven. I do not doubt that he can reverse seemingly impossible and hopeless situations. I do not doubt at all cos he is the source from where i draw my hope and strength. I have experienced miracles and so I believe in the power of God to heal and provide. I tell you before long you will praise the Lord with me.

I don't have the time nor the strength to trade words about my profession. Go to my previous posts on NL, I uploaded a photo of me when someone doubted. grin Plus I'm almost done with my MSc and I'm still in my early 20s.

ebiboy2: Dear nairalanders, I am chukwuebuka nwachukwu and would want to use this medium to solicit your support to help me take care of my sick father. He became ill some 5 days ago after he complained of cold and sever headache[sub][/sub][img][/img] and since then has been in coma. We have spent heavily in the first three hospitals we have been to namely abia state teaching hospital, federal medical center umuahia and then restoration specialist hospital umuahia where he was diagnosed to have hemorrhage. Presently, we are at memfys hospital ( a neurosurgerical hospital in Enugu ) where he is currently undergoing monitoring in the ICU with a life supporting machine before he can be certified fit to undergo operation. when we arrived memfys hospital, the management asked that we pay a deposit of 1 million naira before he could be admitted because according to them he was in the last stage of coma. But God granted us favour and they admitted him last night hoping we would pay by the next morning i.e. today 22/11/3013 amidst our wildest expectations cos all we had was 31 thousand naira.
My mum has spent all she has and we cannot realise the money before today runs out. Please dear nairalanders come to our aid. I just secured admission with my younger brother this year to study computer science at university of Ibadan (37000005JC is my jamb reg no) and have no work. Though our relatives and church members are helping, but the amount we have realized is nowhere near what is needed to maintain him with the life supporting machine ( 75 thousand naira per day ). I will not be online very often cos as d first son i'll be running around scouting for money in any way I can. my mum is hypertensive and I wouldn't want to put her at risk of getting sick. so I wish to ask for your help and support in any way. Please. you can make donations into her bank account. Her bank details are:

Acc name: nwachukwu Eunice o
Acc number: 3065979265
First bank of Nigeria
you can reach me on 08101503047 and my younger brother on 08103368225 and my mum on 08132117332

Thanks

I'm financially strong at the moment but whatever i'm able to raise, i pay into the account tomorrow by God's grace.

My Prayer
I stand here as a priest of the most High God, and declare with the tongue of authority in the name of Jesus that before the end of this month November 2013, your father will be hale and hearty in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

So shall it be, in Jesus name i pray, AMEN!

@Op am joining my faith with yours and confessing healing to every organ in your dads body in Jesus Name. In the mighty name of Jesus I command the blood to thin out in his brain. We believe in miracles and in the resurrection power, the power that raised Jesus from the dead. Let the resurrection power of God flow thru his body now and bring him out of the coma in the mighty Name of Jesus which is the Name at which every knee must bow.
Oh Lord arise and use this case to convict unbelievers that you are the Lord of Lords and king of kings.

If you're trying to impress anybody with your comments on this thread, sorry dear, it's not working.

What did you learn in your medical ethics class (or whatever you call it in your school)?? So you are trained to aid euthanasia by "pulling the plug" on patients? I wish to know where you're practising and observe how many "plugs" you're pulling per day, obviously you're not happy about your job.

@OP. Is there any other means of getting the money across to you other than bank transfer? Paypal perhaps.

Pls indicate by liking if u are going to drop a token to save a life and help restore joy into the Nwachukwu's. I'm fully in...I'll send my token tomorrow. I believe our token wud go a long way... Even if its only 500naira Ʊ have, it's something... May God restore Mr Nwachukwu in Jesus' name. And as we support, may we not go through such in Jesus' name! AMEN!

@Op: Don't av enuf money at this time to giv out but I'll pray 4 ur Dad and endeavor to support u emotionally on this thread. Now, it's actually interesting 4 me to tell u dat wat we prayed abt afta my Pastor's msg in Church today was healing but b4 I go in2 that, let me reiterate three of the causes of sickness that he talked about:
1. Sin: The best example is Adam, Eve and the Fall.
2. Demonic oppression: Check the story of the man who was dumb and prone to seizures as a result of demonic oppression in Mark 9:14-29.
3. Neglect: Not eating a correct diet, lack of exercise- all types of neglectful actions.

So, if your Dad is sick because of sin, since we have the Name by which our sins can be forgiven if we only humble ourselves to ask, I ask that may his sins be forgiven, and may he be raised out of his sickness in Jesus' Name. If it is due to demonic oppression, I command that all those foreigners be cast out of God's house right now in Jesus' Name. If it is due to neglect, I pray that my Father will mercifully restore his health so that he can make all necessary amendments. For I pray in Jesus' Name, amen.

You are his firstborn son. Pray these prayers for him too. My greatest joy would be to read your testimony. Take heart bro, it shall be well. Take heart and take courage. And may God help you in sourcing all the money you need, amen.

[b]Why do Nigerians like to take out their frustration on innocent people?

"Being" or "Bring" are correct words so how would spell check detect an error? Just a minor switch of "e" and "r" which happens to be tightly close on the Z10 keyboard. A common mistake when typing on a virtual keyboard. Of which I've apologised for twice already.

You gave your opinion on this topic, I gave mine. I didn't challenge yours but here you are challenging mine, even my profession.

Why do Nigerians like to force their opinion on everyone? From religion to your dress sense, to lifestyle, to what you must study in school. Must everyone have the same opinion about something?

You all want the OP to spend hundreds of thousands even millions he doesn't have on his dad who has maybe a 20% chance of survival. Waiting for "God" to do a miracle. But when he dies, you all his kinsman will come around to demand for cows, tubers of yam, snuffs and drinks as your right. And have him host you a party to "celebrate" his dad's death. Even his Nigerian Pastor will demand a fee before he gives the dead a Christian burial. What a backward set of people?

I've only given a professional advice after weighing his options, and so does many other people in the medical profession on this forum. It's not being heartless but knowing when to let go. It's not an easy thing to say either but we just have to say it.

This is not the right thread to discuss about typing errors or who's lying about his profession. Just leave your bloody opinion or help and let others feel free to do the same. What is the problem with Nigerians anyway?

Civilisation and Democracy is truly not for black people.

OP I still wish you luck and/or a miracle. I'm out of here
