In the just released cocacola fifa ranking for this month,nigeria dropped 3place from their previously ranked 33rd spot to 36th spot but still remained 4th in africa...coted'ivoire still maintained their 17th spot,ghana dropped 1place from 23rd to 24th,algeria climbed 6places 4rm 32nd to 26th.

I think that game against jordan spoilt our ranking

Wats dis nonsense fifa is displaying, algeria lose a playoff game yet dey climb up d ranking, cameroon draw a playoff yet dey were rated a bit higher, Y Nigeria dat won 2 playoff,home and away, draw a high profile game (which is enough 2 increase Nigeria fifa ranking) has her ranking degraded. I thought d calculation is base on d team a country played in respect 2 d position of such country on fifa ranking + a draw or win. A draw wit italy should fetch Nigeria good point.

Only the 2nd leg against ethiopia,game against jordan and italy was used,only the game algeria won 1-0 against b.faso was used 4 dem,likewise cameroun,the 4-1 against tunisia,had it been we didn't play jordan our ranking would av been better,there is a way fifa usually calc the ranking on their website.

The annoying thing is that we actually dropped points, not just places.
I wonder how the match we lost against Jordan was enough to make us lose so many despite having a win and a draw against Ethiopia and Italy respectively. If we had won that match they would have said it wasn't a Grade A friendly and all that, how many points did the 4-1 win against Burkina faso by the same home-based team give us? How may points did the 4-1 CHAN qualification win agains Cote D'Ivoire give us? There is something very fishy about this FIFA ranking.

One of the many reasons why FIFA should never be taken serious when it comes ranking . When a team like Uruguay that struggled to qualify for the world cup is ranked above Netherlands, u should know such ranking is a joke.

I like this ranking.
Bosnia and Chile should be ahead of England.
