As actors grow older, they gradually lose their star power. Big movie studios would rather invest on actors that are guaranteed to sell tickets than on has-been aging actors. Thus, veterans like Liam Neeson, Bruce Willis and Nicholas Cage have no choice but to feed on the dregs of Hollywood in order to not drown in bankruptcy, or worse, obscurity.

One of those movies with plots that are pointlessly long. Also the plot is pointless. Scenes just dragged with no real reason to them. Could have been better if the writers/director had made the script tighter, cut out the excesses and whatnot, and make it a more linear experience. I did like the cinematography though, and some scene have surrealistic elements to them, but overall, it could be better.

I thought i posted how terrible this flick was last year... Very Very terrible, don't know what the writers where trying to achieve, plot line was so trashy...Andrew garfield damaging his rep further.. Last good thing this man did was Hacksaw ridge and 5/10 is doing this movie a huge Favour.

Still can't get over the fact that Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling teamed up once more to make a movie of one of my favourite fascinations ever, little inconsistency plot wise but doesn't take away the shine off how beautiful first man (2018) was..

Ps: The OST has been my lullaby since last year... Beautiful ambient sound.

The movie sucks tbh. It's basically Garfield walking around LA looking paranoid. There are couple creepy scenes that weren't bad, and I love the animation bits, but the editing, the script, and the acting for the most part, sucked. I mean, I know what they were trying to do, but they failed at it miserably.

The lowest rating I can give to a movie is 4. I can't go beyond that.
